Chance Encounter is @lilac_dnb truly showcasing her ability to craft not only well rounded and progressive drums but her sense for drawing the listener into full musical arrangements is what really stands out here. The prominent violins are what evoke a powerful and striking sound that embodies a film score but still retains its roots within liquid drum & bass. The components of Chance Encounter are synthetic but real, heart felt and stern and emotional yet cold, Lilac has created her own take on a modern classical coalescence that deserves credit for this composition.
