This one’s a sorta ‘warm-up’ selection, the result of a two day dig through the ever-growing piles of records I’m earmarking for this summer’s parties… if they actually end up happening, this is probably how I’d start them off.

Belgium born, Berlin based DJ Gratts has spent the best part of two decades lugging bags of excellent records around. First biting the bug for good-time house, techno and disco in the late 90s, he honed his craft as part of the We Play House gang throughout the following decade, and began pushing out of his homeland around the 10s.
In keeping the heart of the music in mind, Gratts ensures the feet are always engaged. Genres aren’t important, though: no matter what’s spinning, it’s all about the uplift, the heart and the freedom. 
Especially for the Tiella Sound series, he pressed play one morning and recorded a one-take vinyl mix at his musical home in Berlin-Kreuzberg, The Consulate.

Aussi connu sous le nom de Midnight Runners, c'est ici qu'est dévoilé Munir. Diggeur irreprochable de perles introuvables d'Orient et également à l'initiative de sorties sur Darker Than Wax  et No Bad Days, Munir se tient dans la même ligné musical que Romain : de la production musicale qui a pour but d'ouvrir aussi bien les oreilles que l'esprit.. Bside Incoming: Eliza Rose

Having spent to formative moments of her musical journey working at Flashback Records aged only 15, she has since been sharing her joy for music with dance floors across her hometown, mentoring and inspiring other creative women with Rhythm Sister, while regularly broadcasting her discoveries on the Rinse FM and Balamii airwaves.

You can normally expect anything from reggae and RnB, to disco, house and italo, or some UKG, but a journey through her Bsides will show the more soulful side to Eliza.

Her enthusiasm as collector shines through which each interlude providing the heart warming histories and emotional attachment to the music closest to her heart.
