New year, new Tape, who dis? It's none other than @djsara_t holding down the first Shell Tape of 2021! The series has had three weeks off and pulls no punches as we return to the cloud.

Tape 43 is a music reflection of sorts on the year that was; an upbeat reflection that stares confidently into the future. Moments of isolation were contrasted with patches of intense joy - think first lockdown versus first return to the dance floor. Underpinning all of that was the occasional longing for normality. To quote Sara this mix was "inspired by all the raves I've been able to play in 2020 and all the shows I hope I get to play in 2021," and is sonic exploration of how much "being cooped up in the house all year really made [Sara] miss hard dance music."

The selections throughout this hour and a bit jump between high energy juke, jersey club, UK flavours and more, keeping that hard edge we all missed at one moment or another while also staying bright, party focussed and above all else, human. Shell Tapes are back, Sara T is at the helm and the future is bright - let's get it!
