While Resound continues working closely with Ink and Loxy on various projects crossing multiple genres, he is also ramping up his solo releases this year as both Resound and Rhytual (techno/electronica alias). 

Resound retains his original style and approach to production, laying melodic textures over razor sharp drum rolls giving the release a weighty hard stepping Junglism, steeped in dub wise effects and sonic imagery, always maintaining that ARX depth in his melodies and song structure.

Powerful percussive elements, combine with massive dubbed out bass lines reflecting a notable old school edge. Resound is no stranger to this sound, with a successful mastering service (Resoundsound) he commands, and an authentic approach to his productions, Resound is set to showcase again how much real talent resides in his home country of Finland.

Popping the drum and bass bubble they were stuck in, Etra gets ready to hit the digital shelves with an experimental 160bpm, fast-paced Ep titled Bubblegum.

We are constantly told to step out of our comfort zones to explore the power within but how many of us are often able to do that? Well, for the UK based musician and digital artist, Nathan Rush a.k.a Etra it was not so easy at first but it definitely proved to be a process worth going through.

Etra claims, “These 3 tracks have helped me explore outside of the ‘Drum & Bass’ bubble I was stuck in for a while and come up with something that sounds quite unique and outside the box.”

A cluster of choppy vocals, aggressive kicks and unorthodox panning, Bubblegum’s sonic galaxy is stabilized by the weight of a very percussive atmosphere made with Abeltons ‘Autopan’ and ‘Phaser’.

The first track DPR has softer melodies juxtaposed with raw and aggressive production. The second track Mind is a heavy and unrelenting experimental banger that pays homage to early UK Rave music. And the third track, WKD is Minimal, Progressive & Percussive.
