Following his debut release on Noire State, Oldboy delivers three expertly crafted UKG numbers founded on crispy two-step rhythms and squelching basslines. ‘The Box’ showcases Oldboy’s playful sampling which he has become renowned for through a range of edits and while ‘Strict Service’ offers a more laidback groover, ‘Mantis’ supplies a rough and ready crunch to round off the EP.
