Janus Rose is a NYC-based producer, DJ and synthesist. Utilizing a broad toolset that includes everything from DJ decks to modular synthesizers, her musical practice draws heavily from the languages of cyberfeminism and queer rave culture.

Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, she has performed both live hardware and DJ sets at clubs across the U.S., as well as in Europe, Australia, and Japan. In 2023, she began releasing music on the LA-based queer imprint Delusional Records, as well as hosting Soft_Reset, a local party for experimental club and bass music.

Following releases from Grischer, Shjva & Pyramid Of Knowledge and Moisk, Munich-based imprint Terra Magica Records return with their eleventh release. This time the spotlight falls on label co-founder Tom of Terram alongside producer Listensport.

Our pick from the release is second track ‘Madness’, permeating with acid and live percussion. Sci-fi-tinged sonics light up the track, showcasing the EP’s ability to move both the body and mind. Elsewhere, highlights emerge in the shimmering dub-scapes of the title track, the meditative lift of ‘Spirit’, and RAMZi’s kaleidoscopic remix, each offering a different facet of the crystal.
