Arlu Surge is a Seoul-based club artist and the founder of Rave Underground and SATURN DnB. Drawing inspiration from UKG, Hard House, Trance, Techno, Jungle, Hardcore, Techstep, and Liquid Funk, he creates and performs club sounds rooted in UK rhythm and energy. The name Arlu, a fusion of “Art” and “Luna,” captures the melodies and atmosphere of the dark night, while Surge represents the explosive energy that erupts from within his music. Blending melodic depth with raw intensity, his sets guide the crowd through a powerful spectrum of emotion and sound.

Arlu Surge는 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 클럽 아티스트이자 Rave Underground, SATURN DnB의 창립자입니다. UK 리듬과 사운드를 중심으로, UKG, Hard House, Trance, Techno, Jungle, Hardcore, Techstep, Liquid Funk 등 다양한 장르에서 영감을 받아 자신만의 강렬한 클럽 사운드를 제작하고 연주합니다. ‘Art’와 ‘Luna’의 결합에서 탄생한 이름 Arlu는 어두운 밤의 멜로디와 감성을, Surge는 음악 안에서 분출되는 폭발적인 에너지를 의미합니다. 그는 멜로디컬하면서도 에너지 넘치는 셋을 지향하며, 청중을 감정과 열정의 경계로 이끕니다.

Let's meet our dj for episode 632, CICELY:

'Northern raised, London based' CICELY is a music photographer and DJ. She has photographed some of the UK underground’s biggest names, such as Skepta, Big Zuu and Novelist. Her photos have appeared on billboards across London, in locations such as Leicester Square and Euston, and has also created photo work for the likes of Nike, Vans and Footasylum.



During lockdown she spent her time learning to DJ, and has since played sets across the country, in legendary clubs such as Fabric, XOYO and Corsica studios, and has appeared on platforms such as Keep Hush and Rinse FM, as well as festival appearances at Boomtown and Reading Festival. CICELY covers the whole rave spectrum with a special focus on hard dance, techno and hardcore.



In 2023 CICELY launched the rave music platform ‘NRG CRU’ which started out as a mix series, and events, and has since grown into a collective of 11 residents, and a record label. With a direct focus on inclusion and community, NRG CRU is quickly becoming a staple of the UK underground.
