Born son of jazz violinist Michael Ward, he naturally gravitated to violin at the age of 3, beginning a professional music career at the age of 9. Throughout the course of his career, his soulful touch on the violin and ability to infuse jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop, & Pop has won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life.
 
His creativity flourishes on stage not only as a solo performer and bandleader, but also as a music director, allowing him to travel both domestically and internationally; having served as MD for BET Music Matters Artists'; appearing on 106&Park and The BET Experience at LA Live, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Baton Rouge's Live After 5, to backing R&B Crooners such as RL of "NEXT", and Calvin Richardson. 

His work as a producer and songwriter has lead to his music being used in Feature Films, and Shaun composing the entire film scores for Perry Productions "Cute With Bad Qualities" and "A Life To Choose" Movies.
