For 002 of Soul For Sale Radio we're really excited to have our friend and an artist we really admire Peter Vogelaar contribute. 

Here is a bit about Peter:
"Influenced by the deeper and more emotive side of Electronica & Organic House, Peter Vogelaar’s sophomore album ‘Inner Creatures‘ was playlisted by Spotify UK New Music Friday, Ministry Of Sound and many more. Inpulses, a favourite from the album has been playlisted extensively.

He has remixed a wide range of artists from AKZENTH and Wyvern Lingo to Josh Ritter. He has recently collaborated with fellow Irishman Evan Miles and Parisian producer HAELIUM. Having been remixed by house legend Charles Webster, his tracks and remixes have gotten support from Sasha, Kölsch, Eelke Kleijn and Black Coffee.

Peter’s earthy sounding organic electronica has been licensed to HBO, NBC & MTV, including How To Get Away With Murder and has been commissioned to supply audio for various museum installations including TANK in Shanghai."

Mix number 003 comes from our friend, collaborator, and Disco Halal label mate Talee! He gives us almost an hour of music into his world of psychedelia meets dance. 

"Born out of a psychedelic experience, Rotterdam-based artist Talee takes you on a trip into the depths of his imagination. Utilizing his voice, vintage synthesizers, and guitar licks blended with electronic beats, Talee blurs the lines between genres, and forms a repertoire reminiscent of acts like LCD Soundsystem, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and James Blake.

Making his debut on Berlin-based record label Disco Halal, Talee presented two-track EPs ‘Romantic New Wave Vol 1’ and Vol. 2, under the mentorship of label-head Moscoman, he toured the project at 25+ live shows across the Netherlands. The same genre-bending attitude also shows in his DJ sets. During an his ‘Romantic New Wave’ show on Rotterdam’s infamous Operator Radio you might hear him mix the latest Tame Impala into an old R&S record and mix back to an ecstatic club vibe within minutes. Under the same banner he hosts his own club nights in the most beloved indie club in town; Rotown.

Talee has been moving through the Anjunadeep ecosystem for the past year, with James Grant and Jody Wisternoff remixing one of his tracks for their Anjunadeep 15 compilation earlier this year. In September 2024 he delivered his first solo Anjunadeep project, the ‘One Step At A Time’ EP. He comments: "One Step At A Time symbolizes slowly getting to know your inner child and finding your creative spark in life. Playing, feeling and exploring your most innocent and foolish endeavors and integrating these experiences to take your next steps in life. Meeting your divine playing partner"

SX2 Podcast #19 - 07.08.20

SX2 is brothers Clive & Scott Sullivan from Waterford, Ireland. Formed in 2017 when they decided to move DJ sets from their bedroom to dance floors. Cutting their teeth individually as DJs, the natural next step was to come together. 

Their DJ sets and productions blend genres, drawing groove, emotion, and everything else in between, not conforming to any particular sound, style, or trend. This DIY style leaves a fresh approach for both themselves and the listener. Take 2023’s “Steady Up” with Hip Hop artist Pat Lagoon, and 2025’s “Leave Them All Behind” with Crome Yellow and Highdive's Andy Phelan for example. Blurring the lines and breaking the rules within contemporary dance music.

With a monthly Residency at Waterford’s Electric Avenue, regular parties with their side project Ruze, and most recently surfacing on the Festival circuit with closing slots at Electric Picnic and All Together Now, 2025 is looking exciting for the brothers. 2025 also sees them launch their Soul For Sale project on Disco Halal starting with the single. 

Having their tracks supported by artists like Keinemusik, John Digweed, Moscoman, and Dave Seaman just to name a few, expect to see the name SX2 on your radar in the near future
