INTRO TRACKS

David Naville, aka @pyrame, is a Lausanne-born Berlin-based music & record producer. He founded his electronic music record label THISBE Recordings in 2020 in order to produce artists whose music stands at the crossroads of the main genres of electro, house and techno music.  

His set is a - lite - THISBE Recordings´showcase featuring several tracks released earlier this year by, among others, Nomenklatür, Agle, Radial Gaze and Kubebe, or about to be released . His mix also features curated tracks from fellow labels such as Playground records, Bonkers Music, Belly Dancers Services and Side Up Works.

Regularly behind the decks in Berlin and abroad, Pyrame subtly blends sub-genres, from slow techo to minimal electro, from indie house to leftfield techno, bringing along the listener onto a melancholic yet hopeful musical trip, his new mix being yet another evidence of his focus on converging where the genres´ boundaries meet.  

In June this year, Pyrame released his new EP "Mutation", available now on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms.

COSMIC ENERGY MIX 2025 by Pleasure Seeker

From the volcanic heart of Guadalajara, tempered by a decade in Europe's shadows, Leonor emerges — a conjurer of sound both revered producer and alchemist DJ.

His music opens liminal spaces where euphoric folkloric pulse bleeds into new-wave haunted dark disco and acid techno rituals, each set an unmistakable, otherworldly pilgrimage.

Now crossing the threshold back to México, Leonor carries prophecies forged on labels like Lumiere Noire and Toolroom, their creations whispered by spirits from Solomun to Dixon, remixed by spectres like Sascha Funke and Curses.

His mix for Disco Pastors was recorded live at Centre National du Graphisme in Chaumont, France.

As he pressed onward, his perceptions shifted, revealing hidden truths and unlocking deep wells of insight he had never known. Each step brought a new vision, mystical patterns dancing before his eyes, sounds transforming into vivid symphonies, and his thoughts expanding beyond familiar boundaries. By the time he reached the end of his voyage, he carried with him a profound understanding that transcended ordinary awareness, forever changed by the extraordinary voyage through that vibrant, otherworldly terrain.

BRUIT is a DJ and producer from St. Petersburg. His sound is based on the intersection of Italo-disco, dark disco, synthcore, and new beat: dark basslines, dense synth layers, vocal inserts, and industrial rhythms.

 He has featured guest mixes on important genre platforms such as Something Spaecial, Counterterraism, Kurt Kjergaard Mix Series, and others, performed at Oberwave and Itallika parties, and recently released a new release on the young label Disco Pastors. At the core of his aesthetic is a love for both contemporary genre-leaders (Kris Baha, Franz Scala, Radondo) and iconic experimentalists of the past (DFX, Bigod 20, Voyou).  

 This summer, BRUIT is preparing new tracks for release, promising even more synth-driven tension, mechanical drive and melancholy for a world that never quite became what it should have been.

This fresh release from Ladino Romance marks the debut EP of Istanbul-based DJ/producer MERIC.
Known for his energetic live sets that fuse house with disco, MERIC’s first official release is a mystical
deep house track that blends a lost Anatolian folk sample with blazing synths and some spoken word
poetry from E. E. Cummings reading “Anyone Lived in a Pretty How Town.” The folk sample comes
courtesy of Nezih Ünen and was featured in his brilliant documentary, The Lost Songs of Anatolia.
Remix duties are handled by Berlin-based Coss alongside Turkish producers Anatolian Sessions and
Analog Context.

HEMSHIN, the original mix, kicks things off with a percussion-heavy intro. While the chunky synth
bassline nicely builds things up, Anatolian bagpipes soon take the lead and this is where things start
to get really interesting. At the first drop, the ethnic vocals start working their magic. Atmospheric
synths add further depth to the groove until Cummings’ poetry puts the final touch. Despite being
under 5:00 minutes, it’s mysterious, multi-layered, unpredictable and quite danceable, too.

Anatolian Sessions feels right at home as he adds his signature deep house sound to the original.
With a crisper remix that is right up his alley, Anatolian Sessions doesn’t disappoint. Taking his time
while building things up with a deep bassline and reversing the order of bagpipes and vocals, he lets
it drop around the 04:15 mark before picking it up again.
Analog Context puts a different spin on the original with crossovers to melodic techno. The end
result is a proper banger that still preserves the depth of the original. Strong kicks and dreamy
synths keep things tight on the dance floor while the bagpipes lead us through mysterious
landscapes.

The final touch comes courtesy of Berlin-based Coss, who builds his remix around the Cummings
poem. Pad textures and distorted vocals lay the framework nicely. What really stands out in the Coss
remix is the bold departure from the original in favor of exploring more unchartered waters. The
pads and vocals echo early rave classics, while the groove keeps things trippy. Out from Ladino
Romance, MERIC’s first EP is an invitation to explore lost sonic landscapes, while treading new paths
on the dance floor.

Paradigm Shift

Slowly, the bright Mexican label Veneno has been carving its name into the Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene with solid releases featuring both promising and established artists. The new EP – Venom – brings three beautiful originals by CHINOSYNTH and three golden remixes by Diaz Tech (SXDNS089), Weird Like Us (SXDNS055) and Mad Slow.

About the version of "Solana" we choose to premiere, we had a small talk with Gael Juárez and Armando Ramírez aka Horreur, the masterminds behind the duo Weird Like Us: "In this remix we decided to preserve the essence of the original track, keeping the fabulous synthesizers that CHINOSYNTH created to give life to this track. To finish our interpretation, we agreed to add our disco essence that characterizes our sonority without neglecting the dark touch that we both like, this is how we gave life to this remix, having also in mind its suitability for the dance floor. The atmosphere of the original is incredible, it transported us to fantastic places, and kudos to the bassline that incites us not to stop dancing while tripping."
