Lagoon es el protagonista de nuestra novena referencia.

Alta Ley está compuesto por tres cortes originales  y tres remixes firmados por Músculo!, Jackwasfaster y Adhesive. Este EP es el tercer trabajo del dúo gallego y la primera referencia en vinilo de Several Roots.

Electrónica que lejos de enmarcarse en un estilo concreto, ofrece una variedad musical que va desde el downtempo a los breaks pasando por el space disco o el IDM.

Cadee makes his Factor City (@factorcity) debut with three great original tracks driven with leftfield electronics and  followed by healthy remixes by Jackwasfaster (@jackwasfaster) and label honcho Undo (@undo).

Cadee is the project through which Diego Cadierno releases his more dancefloor oriented works. 

After more than five years exploring more “brain” fields (idm, breaks, electro...) with his alias Promising/Youngster, which allowed him to release in labels like Sin Hilo, Nebulae or Several Roots and play live all around Spain, Diego feels the need to go back to his more hedonist roots. This “Happiness” EP is the first released under this moniker. 

Opening the record we find “Besta”.  A very personal song with sinuous synth lines and filters. The percussions and vocals, along with the bass line drives a hypnotic and deep track. JackWasFaster remix is more raw, edgy and straight to the dance-floor, playing with the orginal synths and vocals, and adding what sounds like a distorted synthetic mouth harp.

The second track “Moving Circles” it's a playful and melodic song that captures the essence of Cadee’s approach, teasing the release with its floor-focussed sharp beats and synth stabs. 

Closing the Ep the tittle track “Happiness” it is a reflection on the happiness and responsibility of bringing a child into the world. A deep and wide tune with arpeggiated bass riffs, haunting vocals and vaporous guitars.

Undo strips down the original of its more Pop elements, vocals and guitars, and pays homage to the bass in his remix adding an hypnotic groove and mental synth lines.

Artists featured include Solid Angle, Black Boiler, former Sinchi label artist Braulio Renteria with Ludviq, Hogt i Tak, Ricardo Ruben ft. RLHBSLCN and @Enjanzea2.

The latter,  a duo formed by Javier Rascón (Tato) and Ricardo Jain from Chihuahua, Mexico deliver a stand out original in ' El Cuarto Mundo'.

Italian artist Visionnaire's first release on our dear German label Emerald & Doreen Recordings celebrates his musical influences from Italian Wave and Dark Disco, taking a highly energetic club approach. The impressive pack of remixes provided by some of our favourite artists – Stockholm Syndrome (SXDNS165), Sunmantra, MAN2.0 (SXDNS081) and JackWasFaster – perfectly balances the power and melancholy of the originals while adding their own touches and interpretations.

"Shara" opens the EP with an impressive drive, space and robotic sounds, a track devoted to bringing trance and reverie to the dance floor. Despite its beauty and allure, we decided to premiere JackWasFaster’s version due to the boldness of his approach. First things first: He decided to slow down the original… considerably: From 117 to 106 BPM, to be more precise, which means some elements beamed up from the original to the remix were highlighted and thus can be better noticed, like the robotic layer. The guitar riffs and metallic FXs added by big Jack provide an obscure aura to his work. Killer remix here, peeps! "JackWasSlower", and we loved it!
