When you put together Mufti, Fabrizio Mammarella and Modular Project the perfect storm is around the corner. The label, well known for the quality of his releases, landed this time with “Kismet EP” from the Mexican producer Mufti.
Kismet Original Mix is a track that immediately captures the attention with the main lead melody and the vocal that gently drives into the composition, instead, the unexpected slammed guitar is a pure energetic bliss for every body-mover on the dancefloor.
Nothing Is Real’s bosses Modular Project gives to the main version their special disco-dreamy fingerprint in full effect with an upbeat bass, a sweet arpeggio and their classic 707 style drumming.
The icing on the cake came from the Italian master Fabrizio Mammarella, head of Slow Motion Records and renowned for appearance on labels like Permanent Vacation, Riotvan, Correspondant and many others. He delivers a twist on “Kismet” with his rolling bass and a charming acid envelope late during the arrangement.
With “Escotoma” Mufti goes on a pure Darkwave trip with his unique vocal and a cloudy guitar melody matched with a slow arpeggio that gives the guide to the track.

Now, if you are a beer lover and an Indie Dance/Synth-House fan, say no more, the Belgium city is the place to be!

Since its debut in June 2020, the label KADETT MUSIK based in, yes, Liège, has been amassing one must-have release after the other. Curated by Laurent Daners aka Danny K7, the imprint has already featured some of the finest local and national heroes such as Vhyce, David Body, O.D.Math, and Danny himself plus a French celebrity: Myrddin (SXDNS277), owner of the still young but already acclaimed Mélopée Records.

For its forthcoming episode, KADETT presents David Body once again. Flying solo this time, David delivers in his new EP, “Discotte”, three retro-infused modern cuts whose message is “shut up and dance!”. Premiered here, the title track brings an upbeat aura, combining Italo Disco elements with a House Music attitude. A you-can-never-go-wrong concoction that resulted in a proper Spring/Summer theme – just in time!

GREETINGS follows up this electrifying entree the introduction of the enigmatic ‘Flavio Zoom’, a cosmic search through robust and considered flavours. Newcomer Sam In Space makes a splash with mid-meal workout ‘Aerobic’, charismatic dark disco with an athletic flair. Things take a turn for the sampladelic with the strange and playful mutant funk of ‘Pre Club’ by Club Sausages, before an all-time classic gets an imaginative Italo rework with ‘The Rhythm’ by Black Feeling. Maximum Flavour - the new project spearheaded by Matt FX and Giorgio Beatsaface - serves a dose of cheeky nostalgia with ‘Chef’s Kiss’, their debut original offering via Disco Halal. It’s a track that transports dancefloors back to the 80s, back to that classic New York dance music era where queer self-expression and the infamous Paradise Garage sound reigned supreme. With its glistening synths, rolling drums, and trademark jock-jam vocal drop, Maximum Flavour present a stadium-sized interpretation on the Hi-NRG sub-genre, mixing past and future to create a sense of unbridled joy.
On the flip side, label head Moscoman gives his trademark touch, adding an array of drums that up the pace of the track, making it perfect for those peak time moments. Like legendary productions duos before them, Maximum Flavour makes larger than life music for big room play. ‘Chef’s Kiss,' with its unique reference points, is a head-turning opening statement and one that carves its own lane. Let's go on a trip through the Bizzarro Universe.
The Hamburg-based producer couple Bizzarro Universe is back on Verflixt Music for their third release. "Speed of Light" is a perfect rollin’ space track. The Bizzarros prove their sense for the dancefloor with a track for the peak time. Keeping the Italo vibes, they delight an uncompromising piece. The female robotic voice in the breaks lets no clue, that you're on a flight through space & time, and the drop comes in like your spaceship hits Speed of Light: Powerful and with a Big Bang.

"I control Hyperspace" - quite the message by our first timer Jean Crémant. Please welcome the Hamburg resident with a fantastic piece of music. I'm not gonna lie, it's a total Italo banger. The arp bass is rolling, the drum machine rattles again and the synth is singing a sweet melody. Icing on the cake? The vocal in between. Jean produces music in different genres since the mid-90s and never intended to release any of that - maybe except some tracks during the glorious years of MySpace. After playing in several punk bands, he re-discovered his disco-fetish while listening to the CBS Radio. Fortunately his dad develops electronic instruments since the early 70s and equipped him with some of his rarely used gear. We can hear the bubbles poppin already. Jean, can we have two more bottles please? Santé!

Born in 1986, lulled by the 80s tones, David Body began his little DJ career with italo disco influences in 2007.
He then surfed the wave of nu-disco with projects like Pleasure Machines and La Disco Mafia before starting a solo carrier in 2014.
Resident DJ of the big club Le Cadran in Liege, he has the chance to share the desk with the biggest names : Miss Kittin, Booka Shade, Etienne de Crecy, Mr Oizo, Jennifer Cardini, Yuksek, The Magician, Charlotte de White...
His ears are now ready to compose their own sounds, always with these very synthesized 80s italo vibes.
Very influenced by artists such as Tensnake, Ten Ven or The Swiss, he launched his discography in 2020 with the Belgian label Kadett Musik.
Other releases followed on Endless Music, Ripe Pear Records, Mélopée Records, Full Flight Records, Discoscuro Factory Records...
And he does not intend to stop there ...
