HRDF: Who are you?
MRN: My name is Gal Goldman aka Mr Right Now, 21 years old producer from Tel Aviv / Paris, started my way as a selector dj in Tel Aviv a few years ago and I’m really inspired by Italo disco , French electronic music and alternative music from the 80s.

HRDF: How did you discover this track?
MRN: I discovered Rupa with a recommendation of my girlfriend maya in a vinyl store in paris, in the moment I listened to her album I decided that my fusion will work well with her tracks so I contacted her and got her permission to put it out as a official release.

HRDF: Why do you choose to edit it?
MRN: I choose to edit this track because Rupa took out only 4 songs out in public and I loved the amazing touch of ethnic Hindi vibe with the disco in her tracks and she did it like no other.

HRDF: What are your upcoming plans?
MRN: My upcoming plans are moving back after a few months from Tel Aviv to Paris and to release an electronic original EP that mixes all of my various music taste in to one.

After a string of well-received works published on vital outlets such as Club Mackan, HEARec, and Under The Trees, Mundo D is finally back on (the equally vital) Espacio Cielo featuring his second EP on the Spanish powerhouse: “Bladepunk” comes brimming with four peak-time beasts divided into two pure-energy-soaked originals and two ravishing remixes made with love by Mmyylo and Parissior (SXDNS206), the label boss himself.

Mmyylo, the mastermind behind the version we were solicited to premiere/review, in turn, makes his better-late-than-never debut on Espacio after also delivering a string of well-received cuts put out on NEIN, Global Underground, My Secret Agenda, Sincopat, Side Up Works, and Dust & Blood, just to mention a few.

By decreasing the BPM of the opening theme from 124 to 116, Mmyylo may have changed the mood but not the grandeur of the original. He has respectfully kept the main elements, the Italo-meets-EBM aura, the robustness, and the gait of Mundo D’s creation, but now “Outta Space” belongs to a new sphere for a proper trip in “slow motion”.

After having recently released on AEON and Roam Recordings, Franz Matthews returns home on his HIFI/LOFI imprint by unveiling his Symmetric Dance EP, showing us once more how the producer likes to play with the codes of House, Space Disco, and Indie Dance by intertwining them and turning them into his very own secret sauce

Closing the cosmic ride, the slower ‘Herbie Crashed The Party’ is a progressive burner constructed around a centre ARP2600 synth line evolving throughout the whole track and being joined by funky guitars, heady synth ornementations, and a stabby brass ensemble that opens up the door to what seems to be the ghost of an unusual guest as the party goes on, which makes us wonder if it was a good idea to let Herbie Hancock in at the party ? And again we will answer : Yes, probably.

Pleasure Seeker is Derek from the Italian duo Derek & DJLo (SXDNS047). Envisioning to explore his most inner influences, he decided to fly solo and now brings to life his very first EP: A fine darkness-meets-groovy single, filled with Italo Disco references and remixed with love by Alberto Melloni, Astore, Monao80, Moran, and Mystery Kid (SXDNS398).

The single is coming soon as part of the celebrations of the second anniversary of his own Nubians Of Plutonia Records, a rising & shining Milan-based label devoted to expanding the universe of beloved genres such as Proto House, Italo Body Music, EBM, and Indie Dance.  

The mastermind behind the remix we selected to review/premiere needs no introduction amid the retro-infused side of the electronic music scene. With acclaimed appearances on Mélopée, Raibano, Bordello A Parigi, Paradiso, Ulla, and Italo Moderni, just to mention a few, Alberto Melloni had his name carved in stone and became one of the most prominent artists of his generation.

For his debut on Nubians, maestro Melloni made the original live up to its name and turned it into a true singularity by bringing the theme to outer space and soaking it with Cosmic Disco elements such as deep leads and psychedelic synth layers resulting in a zero-gravity experience for dance floors.

A steady electronic pulse runs through 'A New Member' by Roglar and Neburo, a stream of energy flowing across layers of analog sounds. The italian producer Francesco Cascella, adds a more melodic and melancholic touch, without losing any of the original track's vibrant italo spirit. His version amplifies the emotional depth while keeping the rhythmic core intact, offering a fresh perspective on the energetic pulse of the original.

FEINSTOFF PREMIERE: Roglar & Neburo - A New Member (Francesco Cascella Remix) [BURNING SYNTHS]

It is a pleasure for Odd Pleasures to welcome Peaces, the project by Rizki S. Djanegara coming all the way from Jakarta, Indonesia. Captivated by the sound of new wave, disco, rock and post-punk, Peaces music explores and seamlessly blends these styles and beyond without any boundaries. presenting an ethereal mantra like EP, a sonic adventure to forgotten lands. The two originals provide evocative dark and pulsating atmospheres with a raw edge and energy. A distilled blend of rock with ritualistic and exotic hints.

In remix duties his good friend also hailing from Jakarta Indonesia, Arvin Fajar takes “Poised Ranger” spicing it up, with a bouncy and hypnotic energy. Ghostly voices and fast percussion combined with a steady bassline result in a relentless trip.

Wrapping up the EP comes JGR who needs no introduction, an important member of the label’s family at this point. Taking “Hour Strike” and converting it into a frenetic travel with his signature acid groovy synths, sticky basslines and a touch of perfectly arranged raw beats. Culminating in a pumped up killer of a remix.

Ya son 8 años con el sello de Paris de La Belle Records, un sello fundado por 3 productores franceses, Golden Bug, la mitad de Herr Styler y el jefe del sello de La Tebwa Records. 
Un sello francés que nos ha ido mostrando su particular visión de la múscia. Un sello en el cual, desde el 2013 han ido publciando varios compilados, desde aquel primer compilado llamado ‘La Belle Season One’, o el año anterior en formato EP con ‘One Night Stands Volume 1’. Siempre regalando una colección de artistas y temas singulares e interesantes.
Y ahora para el incio de este verano, el próximo 7 de Junio La Belle Records presentan su mnuevo compilado ‘One Night Stands’. Un álbum compuesto por 10 temas, 13 artistas que colaboran aportando su granito de arena al sello y al compilado.
