This time “Good Skills” introduce you to Lithuanian girls punk band “shishi”. And we are honoured to do so. “shishi” is one of the most original, stylish and respected bands in Lithuanian alternative scene. And one of the very few, regularly playing outside the country in the festivals all around Europe.

Zakmina presents a commanding dark disco release for Minimood with two spellbinding originals filled with unique and captivating sounds. Curses retains this atmosphere in his remix, albeit with a deeper and darker tone. What's inside the head of a young kid who likes Radiohead, Vox Low, underground electronic music, and is an accomplished classically trained musician, multi-instrumentalist, and performer? A plethora of insight and knowledge. What shall be done with such gifts? Easy: Use a blender to combine every single influence amassed since childhood and end up making his/her/their own music.

Bobby Langfield, whose life story in a nutshell you have just read above, is the mastermind behind the brand-new UK-based Indie Dance project OBOST, and his debut EP is coming hot on NEIN Records at the dusk of the year. "I Don't Care For You" presents two interesting originals and two sturdy remixes made with love by none other than Fabrizio Mammarella and Tronik Youth (SXDNS050), the label honcho himself.

Premiered here, Maestro Mammarella's take of "I Don't Care For You" brings the original to the peak-time realm. The peculiar distortions and bouncing gait of the title track gave him necessary room to add his very own signature sonority with fatter and heavier elements which brought even more clout to the very first release of the aspiring artist.

We're back with our 8th instalment of the Pals Series, with our merry band of friends, compiling a varied aural pallet of sound and fury, music and noise.

From old friend and contributor Thomass Jackson who opens the compilation with 'Sexual Camel', to first appearances by Ackerman, Mmyylo, Günce Aci, Sid Le Rock, Martin Martin & Cali Burton ft. Sofia Trenti and Beartrax, and closing the comp again Manner of Speaking with the widescreen cinematic stop motion atmospherics of ‘Idealistic’.

Dina Summer, the collaborative band project between Kalipo and duo Local Suicide, invites you to indulge in the excess, glamour, and magic of the 80s with their new ‘Hide & Seek’ EP on Iptamenos Discos. Featuring a blend of new wave, dark disco and EBM fuelled techno, the EP embraces the nostalgic synth filled sound of the past whilst bringing a modern touch.

The title song 'Hide & Seek' - a soaring track which brings a sense of freedom. Shining and '80s reminiscent, it is a radiant and romantic love letter to disco balls, laser beams, smoke machines and hazy dreams. A blissful and invigorating spirit pulses through the song which elicits the feeling that you are floating up into the air, breaking through a sea of grey clouds to reveal the sunshine beyond.
The EP also features a club edit of 'Hide & Seek', which gives the track an entirely different feel. The same lyrics now have a newfound sense of urgency. It's darker and biting - a thrilling counterpart to the original version. 

Impassioned and electric from start to finish, "Hide & Seek" EP is an impressive addition to the Dina Summer and Iptamenos Discos catalogue. Releasing on February 23rd, 2024 it will be available on 12” vinyl and all digital & streaming platforms.

Adrian's words were:
"These songs have been accompanying me for the last year. For me they are like the result of a distillation of all the sounds that were around me. I have tried to bring them to a minimum, until they are minimally recognizable. Of course I am very happy to share this project with Equanimity, I was already present at their first release and I think it is a good combo to continue with this EP."
