Ulises Arrieta is a young producer, DJ and live performer from Oaxaca de Juarez, Mexico. Originally experimenting with techno and house, lately he developed a unique style gathering influences from Indie Dance and Dark Disco to cook distinguishable and twirling hits.

Having notorious releases on labels such as Nein Records, Espacio Cielo, Phisica and a great number of remixes and V.A. participations as on our own V.A. Compilation Vol. 5 where he contributed with "Cisne Negro" a dancing yet cinematic demonstration.

Ulises finally lands on HEARec with a complete EP, the project is called Interpol and proposes two intense and unique tracks as well as two original remixes by the well known artists Heindenreich from Berlin and Mishell from Tel-Aviv.

The eponymous ‘Interpol’ showcases Ulises distinctive style. Carrying bassline, enticing and peculiar melodies, trippy vocals and the drum action Ulises can be recognized for.

The track evolves naturally by layering spacey melodic elements, ear-candy details and modified voices, increasing the tension and darkness of the tune to release its full dynamic after each break.

‘Out of Sync’ was the pair's fifth and yet again found them cooking up an irresistible funk and hypnotic mix of house and techno on their array of analogue gear. It included top guests Robert Owens, Kate Pendry and longtime collaborator Baseman, and now comes alive in different ways thanks to these fine new remixes.

André Bratten tackles 'Divine Electricity' and has been part of the comic disco scene in Norway for a decade. He brings real emotion to his work and is a sonic alchemist who takes things into all new dimensions. His take on the original is a chaotic mix of bleeps and busted basslines, broken rhythms and detuned pulses that sound like nothing else. VLR is one of many aliases for Norway's Livar Særheim, who does everything from acid to techno to electro to ambient to hardcore. His stylish remix of 'Divine Electricity' takes the original for a night drive through Babylon using a newly built 808 drum machine that will get the floor pumping. Last of all is KSMISK, aka another alias of Trulz & Robin, reserved for more otherworld sounds. They flip 'This is Love' into a deep, dark, late-night techno roller for heady backrooms.

This is an essential collection of remixes that offers something for everyone.

At the request of the CNC (French National Cinema Center), Maxime Dangles has realized for a date series across France a cine-concert on the rare and innovative silent film of 1913 "Le Roman de Carpentier" tribute to the first French boxing world champion. The result, coming soon on the label In Between, is a twelve-track journey ranging from Ambient and Electronica to IDM and Melodic Techno, exploring the story from all angles and feelings.

A sound narrative of great finesse, affirming the richness of Maxime Dangles' production work and his ability to draw singular landscapes from which strong emotions emerge, following in the footsteps of Hans Zimmer, Trent Reznor, and Atticus Ross' original soundtracks, while exploring the most experimental side of club music.

Premiered here, “Rebellion” is the second single of the album and undoubtedly one for the dance floor. A trippy and mesmerizing experience featuring a beautiful crescendo triggered by synth leads and arpeggios whose combination delivers an entrancing and ecstatic atmosphere.

Altostratus captures the ethereal essence of the dream house genre, characterised by lush melodies and hypnotic rhythms. Joe Morris reimagines the tracks into slower, more laid-back versions, perfect for relaxed dance floors. TYVYT_IYTYI. A dusty tape of six tracks unearthed beneath the Pinkman Broken Dreams division. Nothing is known about this unnameable artist apart from his sound. A legion of hiss marches across the cassette, a blighted beat bites into lancing synthlines that bellow and writhe in their pitiful attempt to escape. Strings are left to howl in turmoil in tracks born out of a crude joke and wry smile. Mick Wills offers no condolences, the Stuttgart man lashing away any humanity with his embittered edit.
