Duro Label proudly announces the release of "Baba Music Vol. II," the latest EP from Rina. The EP features exciting collaborations with JulyJuli and The Flying Spoon, as well as a joint effort with HNRQ. Adding to the musical tapestry are remixes by Shubostar and Made In TLV.

"Baba Music Vol. II" kicks off with "Daily Grind" featuring JulyJuli, a hypnotic and playful track. This solid cut captivates listeners with its potent rhythms and entrancing elements. JulyJuli's mesmerizing vocals weave seamlessly through the track, keeping the audience in a perpetual state of trance. Following this is the "Daily Grind (Made In TLV Remix)," which transforms the original into an epic journey tailored for those magical sunrise moments at a rave. Made In TLV infuses the track with intricate percussive layers, reverberated resonances and epic melodies.

The EP continues its sonic exploration with "De Sum," a collaborative effort between Rina and The Flying Spoon. The original version features a dreamlike melody that serves as the backbone of the composition. Intricate arpeggios create a tunnel-like effect, drawing listeners deeper into the sonic landscape with each passing moment. Complementing the original is the "De Sum (Shubostar Remix)," which offers a fresh perspective on this already captivating track. Shubostar's remix adds new layers and textures to the original, further enhancing its dreamy qualities while maintaining the essence of the collaboration between Rina and The Flying Spoon.

The EP reaches its pinnacle with "All My Friends Are TV Hosts," a stellar collaboration between Rina and HNRQ, resident DJ of Lux Frágil. The track envelops listeners in a cloud-like atmosphere, with melodies that evoke the sensation of floating through the stratosphere. The track's ethereal quality is punctuated by acidic sounds that weave in and out of the composition, creating an intriguing contrast to the dreamy core.

“Beneath The Leylandii”, the inaugural album from enigmatic duo Badwizad, emerges as a masterclass in genre-blurring electronica, released via his self-founded Badwizad Records. Spanning nine tracks, the record melds downtempo psychedelia with organic, groove-laden textures, anchored by hypnotic rhythms, funk-tinged guitar riffs, and a kaleidoscope of sonic flourishes. Evoking the cerebral ambience of “Dark Side Of The Moon” and the eclectic futurism of “Plastic Beach”, Badwizad channels a lineage of boundary-pushing acts while nodding to modern trailblazers like Bonobo and Bicep. Irish producer Jack O’Connor has been performing and producing electronic music for over 8 years under the name Zenna. Currently based in Barcelona he operates from his recently built beachside studio where he creates his unique groove of psychedelic beats. 

With a depth of style traversing psytech, deep tech, progressive house & minimal techno Zenna amalgamates this vast territory with a distinctive signature flair characterized by deep grooves, hypnotic rhythms, driving basslines and the perfect seasoning of psychedelia.

Appearing for the first time at Dublin’s Yamamori-Tengu, Zenna went on to move some of the city's most prolific dance floors with notable perfromances at Pygmalion, Berlin D2, Opium, The Sugar Club and The Bernard Shaw before relocating to Barcelona.

His international touring has brought his music to Ibiza, Berlin, Kenya, Portugal, Barcelona, Sri Lanka and the USA with a homecoming for his debut festival performance in Ireland at Fuinneamh Festival. 

Zenna’s production debut About You & Dawn Moon released with When We Dips TOR imprint. He later appeared on Roth Sounds from Tulums renowned Azulik Creative Collective with a meditative, ambient/organic 2 Track EP 'Oceana' and soon returned to Roth Sounds with a 3 Track EP 'Amarna' the stand out track of this release 'Anubis' reached #36 in the Deep Tech Minimal Beatport charts.
