Andrés Téllez is Delone, composer, producer, and designer of sound for film and TV. He founded Riverette Records in 2014 releasing artists like Legowelt, Oskar Offermann, Minor Science, Kornel Kovacs, Jacques Renault, Tiger & Woods, HAAi and Piona. His own music went out Man Power’s ME ME ME, Turbocapitalism, Rotten City under the pseudonym Dos Attack. In 2017 Riverette opened a record store in the center of Madrid, becoming a benchmark space in the capital. In 2021 he put out his first album as Delone.
 
His new album ‘Romanticismo Siempre’ is out on Madrid based label Lovemonk and is a passionate journey through romanticism, electronica, ambient and psychedelia. Recorded for the most part on analog synths, the album travels through territories that border on the experimental and the dance floor, entering at times in both fields. Rich and varied analog experimentation, touching on many of the subcultures that have shaped what was once simply called ‘electronic music.’ Flashes of trip hop, new age romanticism and proto electronics are amalgamated throughout, with hints of mutant house, breakbeat, IDM, a touch of trance and other genres peripheral to the club.
 
Throughout the eleven cuts on this long player a story materializes through Delone’s very personal sound, telling the tale via his exquisite arrangements and rich expressiveness. It could be described as a polyhedral affair that changes with every listen and every playback. It is complex, delicate, and full of nuances, at the same time charged with a powerful and primitive energy.

The praised “Acid Avengers” series of the Brittany-based label Tripalium Corp reaches its thirtieth edition. A massive landmark, we would say. For the occasion, the French powerhouse welcomes none other than three beloved duos: Starting with the one & only Italian superstars Hard Ton (SXDNS176) in collaboration with brilliant Latvian everybody’s darling Queer On Acid, and British second-to-none Posthuman. The gang came up with a stunning four-track vinyl – plus a digital bonus – “mixing vicious Techno, hypnotic 303 lines, Acid House gimmicks, and psychedelic vocals.” As you might have imagined, the beasts here are intended for exclusive dance-floor use. Living room administration may trigger unexpected reactions from your neighbours: They will either call the police or join you for a little indoor (never-killed-nobody) bender, depending on the kind of people who surround your dwelling.

Premiered here, “B_Ass” is one of the most dangerous cuts of the soiree because of its, yeah, “motherf*cking bass”, as mentioned in the minimalistic but imposing lyrics delivered by Hard Ton’s Max vital entrance. It’s truly remarkable how he always manages to offer spot-on vocals for the duet’s productions. Psychedelic synth layers and a sharp acid line complete the theme, one of the highlights of the EP.

“Voodooridoo” is the debut EP of the collab between Radial Gaze and Pyrame. The result of what had to happen when the two friends finally met in person earlier this year.

Indeed, over a 2 months period, the two electronic musicians quickly hit the ground and regularly caught up at Thisbe Recordings´ HQ in Berlin-Mitte where ideas kept flowing and got recorded. They blent each other´s recipes to produce unpreceded music for both of them. Pyrame´s brain-sticking melodies and basslines as well as odd organic instrumentation found in his studio meet Radial Gaze´s punchy riffs on acid, signature tribal percussions, and brain-washing arpeggiated patterns.

Out of this time in the studio emerged three original tracks. First, “Outrageous” because this is how well the two got on with each other from the first day onwards. “Voodooridoo” came next and was so packed with ideas that the two fellows had to slim down their production at that time. Such a creative process was calling for a third tune, and that one morning when Pyrame came into the studio and shouted “Boa Boa” while Radial Gaze was already working on another acid trippy pattern paved the way for their third track. Their collaborative work and enthusiasm did the rest and their first collab EP was wrapped up.

Orchid joins the EP by remixing the title track into an uptempo rework of the original.

First released back in 2013, You Man's debut EP Restless -and its lead track Birdcage- launched the career of French duo Tepat Huleux and Giac Di Falco, kickstarting a decade of stunning live shows played all around the globe and acclaimed releases and remixes on labels such as as Tronik Youth’s NEIN, Boston Bun’s Circa’99 and Eskimo Recordings. Now, to celebrate their first ten years in the game Huleux and Di Falco have revisited their debut EP, and this time they've brought along some of the many friends they've made over the past decade.

With its chugging 109 bpm beat and a melody that switches from throbbing minimalism to something tantalisingly close to a full-on Ibiza sunrise moment, the EP's lead track Birdcage has never strayed too far from discerning DJs record bags but across several new versions here we get to see it reinterpreted in thrilling new ways.

Simple Symmetry are back on Calypso for a second offering but this time around it's in a different format. They've enlisted remixes of tracks from their Sorry We Did Something Wrong album which first landed back in 2021 as a self-released project, which won over many fans with a sound that went way beyond the club and now gets repurposed for the dancefloor with extended and club versions. The Horsemen Of Housing & Commercial Services rework of 'Che Che' is a dark disco classic, Smaghhe & Cross rework 'Rounded With A Sleep' into something taught and trippy and INigo Vontier layers in plenty of darkness, grit and grime to his take on 'I Must Not Fear'.

The thoughts floated in and out, images danced atop an empty screen as the voices echoed and cried with great whimsy and wonder. These were the moments of wild dreams, a place in which the most careless and most reckless fantasies roamed as the limits and shackles of society were removed.

Anything might exist up here for anything could.

Wandering from room to room of the empty house, there were strange visions and moments to be found within each. Some were haunting whilst others were wildly euphoric like the stuff of a delicate fantasy.

Who knew which door might lead where and what lay behind each?

La Serpiente remixed by Elena Colombi. Now this is a combination we can get behind, this one sounds like something out of a sophisticated art noire film, a horror of sorts with wandering melodies and echoes atop a stomping repetitive kick.

Formed in 2007 by the Brazilians Geraldo Nogueira and Mari Jares, BemBom was originated when the couple had the idea to start a podcast featuring their favourite music. Seeing their unique talent, close friends gave a little push and things started happening. From the very first podcast to uplifting the crowd on the dancefloor, BemBom has rapidly grown into a fierce and dynamic duo ready to set the mood with their refined and characteristic sound. 

The sound of the duo has a strong footing in Disco Music while playing various other styles, including House and Tech- House. During their performances, the songs connect to each other, telling a narrative and making the set quite dynamic and danceable. Benjamin Ferreira (Ursound), Márcio Vermelho (ODD), Leiloca Pantoja (D-Edge), Magal (CIO), Celestino (SXDNS), Zopelar (Teto Preto) are some of the names with whom BemBom shared the Pick Ups.

BemBom currently resides in Portugal and since 2015 has been playing on a monthly basis at Plano B in Porto. The twosome plays long sets surrounding Disco Music and House. In addition, they also usually play music in Terraplana Bar, where they do something different and focus on organic sounds, turning to Soul / Funk / Disco. They have also performed in Braga (Portugal) in the Casa dos Coimbras, Juno, Monastery and Peste spaces. Recently, the duo was on a short tour through Frankfurt and played at Old Fashioned Bar, NM57 and OFOF Cafe.

OOFT! has been doing the business for years now with his rock solid original productions and rather cheeky edits, releasing on the now infamous Instruments of Rapture, Delusions of Grandeur and Wolf Music amongst other labels.

As a DJ he has held residencies at top clubs like The Sub Club in Glasgow as well as touring around Europe and is known for dropping just about anything in his sets from slow-mo tackle to disco sounds to classic house music.

Originally running the L.E.S.S. Productions imprint alongside The Revenge and DJ 2Three, Ali’s main creative outlet is now his label Foto Recordings. In addition to the original OOFT! material, the label has also released deep, Detroit-inspired house music from Deep Space Orchestra, Andy Ash, Medlar, Luvless, MermaidS and more.

Javi Frias is a DJ and producer from Madrid that has been collecting and playing records since the late nineties. In the last few years he has started to make noise in the disco scene because of his incendiary edits and reworks, releasing some records on top labels like Street Edits, Giant Cuts, Midnight Riot, Boogie Café and Bons Records. His music is usually played and charted by top DJs like Danny Krivit, Detroit Swindle, Red Greg, Horse Meat Disco, Jacques Renault, Rahaan, Marcel Vogel, Get Down Edits and Frank Booker.

2017 has been a great year for him because he has started his own label - Night Shift Records - devoted to disco edits and house music where he has released two EPs by himself getting great exposure all over the world and selling really fast. He had another big success with the release of his first 7" on Disco Pocho and his tasteful edit of Susana Estrada feminist hit 'Quitate El Sosten'. Next year will have two more new releases on 7" and a few releases on his own label by him and other great producers.

Frias is a passionate record collector and selector, he really likes to play different kind of stuff during his sets, from new to old, from the classics to the obscure and rare records, always getting the crowd ready to discover new sounds but keeping the dancefloor on fire.

He's the resident DJ and booker of Discotizer, a disco-boogie-house party every friday at Marula Cafe Madrid, where he had invited and shared the decks with top DJs like Joey Negro, Danny Kirivit, Detroit Swindle, Rahaan, Red Greg, HMD, Eli Escobar, Dan Shake, Medlar, Get Down Edits, Marcel Vogel, Ron Basejam, Art Of Tones, Luxxury and Alkalino.

In recent years Kelly-Anne Byrne has earned a reputation as one of the finest selectors on the airwaves and one of Ireland’s top DJs.  Her DJ career began 15 years ago when a large vinyl collection and a love of soul and disco prompted her to drop a mixtape into The Dice Bar. From that point on she has been entertaining crowds from all over the country with top slots at all of Ireland’s festivals including, Electric Picnic, Longitude, Indiependence,  Sea Sessions, Metropolis and Forbidden Fruit. 

Kelly-Anne is the promoter/resident DJ at monthly night BURNIN’ UP in The Grand Social and also appears regularly at Mother Club and The Workman’s.  In February 2013 she began presenting The Saturday Weekender on Phantom 105.2 which earned her a nomination for Best Newcomer at the PPI Radio Awards.  She currently presents The Beat Goes On on Saturdays  and Sundays on Today FM (named ‘the best show on Irish radio’ by Jim Carroll in The Ticket) and the evening show on TXFM Dublin which gained her a nomination for Best Radio DJ at last year’s PPI Radio Awards. 

In the summer of 2015 Kelly-Anne got to share the stage with her music heroes Chic when she supported them at Iveagh Gardens, a dream come true for someone who has spent much of their life being dedicated to disco.

The most recent chapter in Arun’s story is about to be the most exciting yet. The Hong Kong-based DJ has peaked over the ten-year milestone of delivering tasteful music, curating for venues, and bringing top artists to his hometown; he is now ready to unleash a new focus on his life in music.

After a period of work-hiatus & some introspective time to himself, Arun has been patiently carving a new musical journey that is quickly becoming ‘his sound’; “Refusing to be pigeonholed, Arun R can seamlessly drift from Balearic vibes to raw deep house, taking his listeners on ethereal journeys of sound and music” (Karma Klique). Despite his adamant stance of having no boundaries, he still remains established in the scene of serious house music lovers.

Now, the HK-born Indian with an eclectic palate for more than just music has grounded his feet strongly with a sound that exudes dubby warmth, melodic bliss and afro-tinged house grooves, with the addition of elements of acid, broken-beat & soulful bliss. Tastemakers and connoisseurs alike are already throwing their hands up in appreciation of Arun’s journey-making skills that leave a lasting impression.

He is currently signed with Double Malt Records, from where a few releases should be expected very soon!
