The Colombian producer Ravetop releases an EP of remixes that come from a raw analog track with down pitched and resonated voices that interact alongside a playful and unpredictable arp bass-line and solid percussion elements,

resulting in a fresh and spooky new wave "minimal" disco flavor with bleep dry beats, ideal for warming up the dance floor.

The rhythm that borns of social isolation, the desire to break the rules with the existing alternatives, visions of the discotheque exploding after being shut down for a long time lapse, strident syntheses that converge with colored spotlights in the darkness and the uncertainty and relentless cyber future are mainly the sources of inspiration that came to Ravetop to give shape to this track.

Galope Messier brings a touch of Trance and "Proggry" vibes through the drops and bass line in his remix, followed by the powerful contribution of Fabrizio Mammarella, who turn the essence of the original track into a peak time arpegiated Italo Body Music bomb perfect for the most rave-heads club warriors.

The release is complemented by "Le Poison Du Plaisir," a track previously included on the "Rotten Citizens Vol. 6" compilation. A great chance to catch up for those who missed it!

Espacio Cielo proudly presents its 91st release - a forward-thinking EP from Spanish producer Avar Garden, who delivers a striking blend of hypnotic grooves and raw textures across two original cuts and two standout remixes.

The journey begins with 'Ritmos del Asfalto', a track that channels urban energy and percussive grit, offering a darker edge and powerful groove. Rising producer Mundo D reimagines it into a vibrant remix, pushing its raw elements into playful, electrifying directions.

On the flip, 'Vertigo' unveils a different shade of Avar Garden's sound - the most house-oriented piece of the EP. It sets a tense yet immersive tone, weaving pulsating rhythms with a cinematic atmosphere that draws the listener into deeper territories.

JKriv returns to Rocksteady Disco after a six-year break with his stunning ‘Adaptation EP’. 

This super solid five tracker continues J's hot streak on seemingly every great label around the world including his own Razor-N-Tape, with a deep organic sound, thanks to it being mostly produced in his MPC3000 era. 'Greene Street Lament' kicks it off on a boom bap beat tip. Next 'Adaptation' gets the party started with lush strings, piano, and a huge bassline. On the flip is 'Total Pleasure', a midtempo boogie house joint with enough sub to rattle your car door handles off. 'Vibetown' continues on the MPC tip with killer breaks and chops for all the heads. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their seminal 2005 album Staring Into Space, Glaswegian duo Silicone Soul present a Darkroom Dubs reissue featuring two pivotal remixes that helped define the album’s legacy.

Berlin’s Dirt Crew deliver a powerful rework of Inferno. The Mexico City electronic sphere continues to be a fertile ground for innovation, and Juan Harrison, known as Tkuz, consistently proves to be one of its most compelling cultivators. With his forthcoming “Volta” EP on the esteemed Kyma Komplex imprint, he adds another robust chapter to a discography already celebrated on labels like Controlla, Bonkers, and Melomana. This new collection finds Tkuz weaving together the driving energy of trance, the robust framework of techno, and the gritty textures of industrial music into a cohesive and forceful aesthetic. The package is further amplified with reworks from Ruksby (SXDNS256) and Jorge Galindo (SXDNS450), promising a well-rounded release that showcases multiple facets of his production prowess.

Directing our attention to the "High Version" of the title track, Tkuz constructs a formidable and immersive world. According with the mythology of Agharo, the spirit of every being lives in the stars. And so when the body dies, the spirit returns to the stars where it belongs. The soul is then the constellation formed by the stars every being has.

This structure of constellation, however, isn’t two-dimensional as in western astronomy; in Aibana each star is intimately connected with every other star within the constellation and within them runs the will of the spirit and its fate. The stronger the structure of Aibana, the stronger the spirit.

These cards speak of the individual — of our self in relation with the self. Or our spirit and our soul. Of that which is behind all masks, our true self and our true fears. How did the meaning of the tarot card inspire the journey of this mix?

I was appealed by the ‘confidence’ aspect of it.
I really played the tracks I wanted to hear myself without thinking about anything else. Sometimes you might overthink a mix - especially one recorded at home one. But in this case I really went with the flow and eveything seems ‘fated’ to happen this way.

Co-founder of CrowHunt Records based in Nantes, France, Alexandre David started deejaying in the early 2000s and started production in 2008 with releases on Nein, Play Pal, Way of House, The Exquisite Pain, Logical and Emerald & Doreen. He dabbled with several different styles – Electro, Techno, Minimal – and trained a long time before putting all his musical projects on hiatus after his child was born. This break enabled him to further develop his way of composing and broaden his array of electronic music influences. He came back to production in 2015 with the dark music project ALDA.
