Hailing from Liege in Belgium, lulled by the 80s tones, David Body began his little DJ career with Italo Disco influences in 2007. He then surfed the wave of Nu Disco with projects like Pleasure Machines and La Disco Mafia before starting a solo carrier in 2014.

Resident DJ of the big club Le Cadran in Liege, he had the chance to share the deks with some of the biggest names in the business: Miss Kittin, Booka Shade, Etienne de Crecy, Riton, Mr Oizo, Jennifer Cardini, Yuksek, The Magician, Charlotte de White...

Very influenced by artists such as Tensnake, Ten Ven or The Swiss, he launched his discography in 2020 with the Belgian label Kadett Musik. Other releases followed on Endless Music, Ripe Pear, Mélopée, Full Flight, and Discoscuro Factory. In 2022, his first vinyl was released on the German label Exploited Records.

And he does not intend to stop there...

His manifold affection for all sorts of sounds resembles in his work for @bellydanceservices, with his label he keeps releasing likeminded artists from across the globe. Also as 50 percent of @hanzoandyaman, amidst various collaborations and with his own compositions, Hanzo continues to leave his marks on certain areas of the music world.

"Back from the wave is probably the most personal project of Fred Rodrigues-Carreira, French artist ,Dj, and Electronic music producer since twenty years. Influenced by new and Cold wave music and early post-punk bands like Depeche mode , New Order , Norma Loy , Joy Divison or Talking heads but also by the beginning of Acid House and Détroit techno Fred starts production with only a juno 106, a bass station and a sequencer. He started on two French techno labels, Goodlife (The Hacker and Oxia) and Scandium records (Delon and Dalcan). He will also explore all the musical specters under several aliases with different artistic projects. Passionate and curious about music, he naturally becomes Dj and performs in France and abroad.  His production are always dedicated to the dance floor , combining Electro , Techno , Syntwave, like his Dj sets .  Since 2018 Back From The wave has been releasing music on different labels such Ritmo Fatale , Critical Monday , Nein Records or Esthetique Records. The Back From the Wave project is a tribute to all the artists and music that influence Fred today."

Best be described as a retrospective journey into the future; Marcus Christiansen embraces and explores inspiration from the 80s and 90s with a strong focus on genres such as Italo, Dark Disco and EBM, as well as Synthwave and a hint of Trance.

Growing up, immersed in video games, science fiction and hockey anthems, there’s perhaps no surprise that Marcus' music sounds the way it does. - Playful melodies in a futuristic environment presented in a big way—like an anthem is supposed to.

@betty-b-69 is one half of Nouveau Futur, a duo co-founded with her friend Neurotiker. Their first track, called « Amour éphémère », will be released soon on Mélopée Records’ compilation.

Being a true night owl, she started to work in the nightlife at the end of the '80s until 2005 in the trendiest clubs and bars of Lyon, where she lives, such as La Centrale, as a barmaid or party organizer, then at l'Exit, a famous techno bar she managed, but also for the mythical parties I love Boys, Enjoy and Wake Up.

In 1995, she moved behind the decks and learnt to mix on vinyl.
Even after leaving the nightlife, she returned to mixing, utilizing the new technological tools. She delivers club-oriented dance mixes tinged with indie dance and dark disco while adding some new wave. Her inspiration comes from bands such as Depeche Mode and The Cure, which she particularly likes.

For Feinstoff, she offers a dancefloor mix with pads, leads and cosmic vibes.

Pour ce numéro 106, nous avons l'extrême honneur de recevoir un producteur que nous affectionnons tout particulierement, j'ai nommé le très grand que dis-je l'énorme : @muftimx
Alors rien à voir avec les prophètes religieux, bien qu'il est en son nom prophète de la grande parole Dark Disco, Bernardo (c'est son prénom) officiait auparavant au sein du duo Los Fugazzi dont nous étions déjà bien fan, Bernardo a depuis fait ses armes solo et ceux sur différents labels que l'on adore également (Ombra INTL, Rotten City Files, Roam Recording, Nothing Is Real ou encore Fucanglong Files...) en tant que producteur mais aussi remixeur de talent pour des artistes comme Radondo, Club Mayz ou Kimshies...
À noter qu'il publie également régulierement une floppée d'édits, tous dispos sur son bandcamp perso.

Neurotikerʼs heavy 80ʼs influence is very apparent in his production style.
Dj since 1999 he has developed his own style of music production, that ranges from techno to disco always with a retro feel to his music. Influenced by the sound of the 80ʼs he tries to create a unique sound as he expressed in his latest releases.

Neurotiker, living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
has been releasing music since 2010 on labels such as Ritmo Fatale, Melopee, Polari, Weirdos, Ulla Records to name a few and with a new imprint of his own coming this year OGIO Records.

Karla Lynch is a DJ based in Paris and she is a member of Human Magic Records. Her stage name refers to the eponymous filmmaker and his strange and dreamlike art.

In her sets, expect a concoction of Indie Dance with tribal rhythms and Dark Disco mixing synths and rock sonorities. At nightfall, she explores darker paths with EBM and Trance influences. At the crossroads of Mexico and Berlin, she takes her audience on a psychedelic and dancing journey.

She is set to release her first track this year and will be part of the famous Marvellous Island festival line-up taking place in May 2023.
