A main-stay in Mark Knight's recent sets, Siege ups the ante here with a solid tech house groove and uses those vocals and pianos sparingly, but enough to create a very playable version of a huge house record and in doing so creates an uplifting moment in those tougher sets ? Like a lot of artists, GoldFish went from a busy touring schedule of shows all over the globe to an enforced stay at home order. 
‘It really took a moment to come around to the sudden change’ says Dom, Upright Bass and Keys for the duo.
‘We definitely had post-traumatic tour disorder for the first few weeks... I kept having this feeling like I was late for the airport or something’
A week or so before Covid shut down the world, GoldFish had played the biggest show of their careers  - a sold out show at the legendary Printworks in London and a busy Summer of festivals ahead. 
Dave (Sax, flute and mixing)chips in:
‘Musicians are used to improvising, so we just carried on like we always had - playing live. Except this time it was just from our living room. The silver lining really has been connecting with our fans - in someways better than we ever had before. We could lift people’s spirits during these tough times with our live streams and in turn it lifted ours too.' 

This stream is something special though. 
The duo teamed up with SoCal upstarts Püre Musica, and filmed a live performance from the cliffs above their favourite surf spot in San Diego.

‘We’ve been surfing ever since we moved to the States from South Africa and have always looked up at the cliffs from the water and thought how cool it would be to play a set there. Now we can’t wait to share it with everyone’ 

Featuring GoldFish’s signature live instrumentation and organic house sounds, the duo weave through a selection of new material as well as unreleased remixes and edits taking the viewer on audiovisual journey with a setting could not be more perfect.
