Burnout

sxultime (pronounced “soul-time”) is an indie singer-songwriter, and producer from West Yorkshire, England. 
Born Jake Doherty in 2004, sxultime continues to showcase his creative, hypnotic production skills with powerful and emotive lyricism.

Jake began writing lyrics in 2020 after being inspired by artists such as Joji and Juice WRLD. He then released his first track “School Tie” in 2021, produced by close friend and fellow musician Zak Cavill. The track currently has over 1.8k streams.

Following in his friends’ footsteps, sxultime began studying music production at college. While learning how to craft music, he released several singles and in 2023, released his debut EP “Purgatory”, with over 1.8k streams. 

With his upcoming project, sxultime plans on experimenting with new genres and sounds, such as indie pop and lo-fi, inspired by artists like Joji, Twenty One Pilots, Quadeca and Billie Eilish. The project is slated to release Spring 2024.
