Part I - Prologue (0:00 - 1:30)
Heilgar enters a city that has been newly "liberated" by the holy empire. The narration starts without any backstory to Heilgar, since the listener would have context from Spiralflip's track. Main theme of the track plays at 0:40, with a more uplifting/optimistic feel.

Part II - Heilgar arrives at the city (1:30 - 2:56)
Heilgar is welcomed into the city, but her doubts grow as she senses fear from the citizens, and she suspects that not all is right within the holy empire.

I started this section with a fanfare/march kinda thing, as one would expect from welcoming someone of royalty. Was very inspired by Evan Call's Violet Evergarden OST for this section.

At ~2:06, I snuck in the theme from a previous short album "Picnic on a Broomstick". I imagine in my head a scene where Heilgar is striding through the city, and the camera pans upward where the picnic witch makes a short cameo and flies across the screen.

Part III - Journey of discovery (2:56 - 4:18)
Heilgar leaves of her own accord, and heads to the northern lands without sending word to the holy empire. From 2:56 - 3:41 I tried to create a solitary feeling (irish flute and an oboe solo with wind sfx), where Heilgar has disguised herself, and is just wandering the northern lands. 

At 3:41 - 4:18, Heilgar decides to spend some time in a small town and experience life there herself. I feel like this is the weakest section of the track; I would have wanted to expand on it a little more but the overall length was getting a bit too long so I cut it short.

Part IV - The holy empire approaches (4:18 - 5:13)
The army of the holy empire approaches, wanting to capture the town by force. The local militia are no match, and Heilgar decides to face the army herself. Small thing, but at 4:38 after Shiena reads "large army approaches in the distance", the trumpet staccatos happen. This was not planned and just happened to align, so I thought it was a nice little thing.

Part V - Final (5:13 - End)
Starts with lusci's favourite bagpipes, with a similar motif from Part III (3:41 - 4:18). Main theme from the beginning of the track then follows, but with more intensity.
