Introducing Im Osten Geht Die Sonne Auf, the second full-length album release by the duo Recht Auf Rausch from Offenbach, Germany. This 12-track album features the captivating vocal stylings of Momo paired with Kalocain's masterful electronic production. Together, they create a cold and immersive environment that will leave you entranced from start to finish.

The album doesn’t follow homogenous guidelines nor conceptional requirements.
It’s a spontaneous expression of our moods facing obstacles of society.
Producing music to connect, grow, heal - a cathartic process.

While drinking tea and smoking cigarettes in our bedroom studio the procedure of making music starts with some sounds till we feel the direction of the song, and then we begin to implant the lyrics.
The fast flow defines our collaboration which feels mostly symbiotic and unforced. In this way, our creations become raw, honest and vulnerable.

Uplifting, life-affirming, and perfectly timed for the summer months - cobbled together, Heath Robinson stylee, more by serendipity than design, into a coherent whole by DJ / Producer Greg Wilson. Most of the tracks featured are by Blind Arcade (Kermit Leveridge & EVM128), either existing demos or works in progress, but the mixtape is also peppered with half-a-dozen GW edits, lyrically laced to bubble the Super Weird stew – the constant presence, and main ingredient, being Kermit, for it's his inspirational tale of faith and redemption at the very core of this morphogenetic mixtape. Following on from the Ruthless Rap Assassins and Black Grape, we believe that this is his greatest musical odyssey, drawing from the deep wells of his own mythos and logos. There were 3 frontmen in the Rap Assassins, 2 in Black Grape, but now, for the first time, Kermit steps to the fore – no longer to be described by such a limited term as 'rapper', but as a sabre-skilled vocal chameleon, his shades and depths ranging from wise old soul to lovestruck adolescent, invoking his many I's as a cast of compelling characters, both comic book and close–up personal, whilst, in trickster tradition, keeping us on our toes, not knowing what to expect next.

Presumably DJ Kaos spent much of lockdown crafting fresh re-edits of trippy little-known tunes, because his latest four-track selection of heady reworks is arguably his strongest release for some time. We're particularly enjoying the urgent, vocoder-loving disco-funk madness of 'Tapping The Source', a wild and wonderful rearrangement of a thoroughly obscure cover version of Pink Floyd's 'Another Brick In The Wall', though the more cosmic, hypnotic headiness of piano-sporting Italo-disco number 'Crystal Voyager' is similarly addictive. Elsewhere, 'Spiral Jetty' is an extra-druggy, Italo-disco style re-make of a familiar nu-disco classic, while 'Region Centrale' is a delay-laden take on what sounds like an early Chicago house jam (with added 'Buffalo Gals' acapella snippets).
