Instinct is 16-year-old Sydney Cook’s debut EP. It unapologetically draws influences from a mix ofgenres to create a shameless pop music experience. Inatime ofsocial struggle this EP reflectsan audible tension while empowering the listenerto find liberation andtranquility. Shockingly this is imparted to us through the lens of anAmerican teenager. Working with Producer and Mixing Engineer Chad Carlson and co-writer Vanessa Olivarez, Sydney has composedthree energetic tracks that speak the truth about the heart, soul and mind when challenged. Struggle, determination, purposeand resolutioncan all be heard and felt in each track of this EP: All Yours, Myself Again, and Instinct.The Atlanta based 16-year-oldis a driven and accomplished songwriter, recordingartistand performer.  Sydney is a pianist, guitarist and vocalist who writes prolifically and is currently working on a set of singles. She performs various venues in the Atlanta area including Eddies Attic, Smith's Old Bar, The Red Clay Theater, Vinyl, Center Stage, Red Light Café and private events.
