Nirvana are arguably the greatest band ever and Kurt Cobain was a genius. As well as their stunning original tracks, they notched up some great covers along the way. Mollys Lips is a case in point and originally recorded by fey indie starlets The Vaselines. This is my take on it.

Robbie Williams has been a big star in music for a while and has got some really great tracks to his name. Next to 'Come Undone' and 'Eternity', this is one of the my personal faves. Although it does not touch the original, hopefully it brings a new take to the track

Lifeline

Always loved Cast as a band back in the day and they never get they credit they deserve now for the amazing music they made back in the 90's. All the first album is class but this tune is a belter.

Everyone knows Fools Gold is a class track and The Stone Roses are arguably the greatest band ever. 

"I'm no clown, I won't back down, I don't need you to tell me what's going down"

I mean, come on - those lyrics there are proof of greatness alone. This my salute to the Fab Four - Ian, John, Reni and Mani.

I love the Tour de France because it is always so exciting and dramatic. Thibault Pinot is one of France's best riders of recent years and this is a track named after him which simulates the searing paranoia of the world's best bike race

This is a song about what would happen if Jesus came back to the planet now and whether people would really believe it was him or think him a fake. It's also about what Jesus would think of this and how he would feel about this kind of rejection from those he had come to help

Messiah

This is a song about a relationship which is going through a rocky patch but which the people involved still want to save and still love each other.

Don't Go

Sometimes in life you just meet people you don't see eye to eye with and who you despise with every fibre of your being. this is a song about that and hoping they leave you alone soon

Ian Brown is a legend and one of my musical heroes. This is a pretty old house track I made years ago, based on an old vinyl interview he did as Stone Roses lead singer. Enjoy!

Like snow falling in summer -which is why I called the track though. although snow in summer would be a bit weird as you would then be expecting Santa to come and get upset when he didn't. but at least you would be able to build a snowman.

I once met Phil Collins in Butlins Minehead UK. Great man and full of witty anecdotes of his time as a top selling musician and solo performer. had a penchant for Frys Turkish Delight and Custard Creams too. Once you got him singing, he wouldn't shut up either. when I told him that 'Mama' was one of my favourite songs ever, he merely smiled and disappeared with an invisible touch.
