Taabinda tere ishq se imaan ki jabeen hai.

Your beauty has illuminated the cheek of certainty,
And your love has brightened the forehead of faith.

Chamka hai teri daat se insaan ka muqaddar,
Tu khaliq-e-konain ka rakhshinda nabi hai."

Your praise has shone upon the destiny of mankind,
You are the shining Prophet of the Creator of the worlds.

Chamki thi kabhi jo tere nakshe paa se,
Ab tak wo zameen chaand sitaaron ki zameen hai.

Once, your footprints shone brightly,
Now that very ground is a land of the moon and stars.

Jis mein ho tera zikr wohi bazm hai rangeen,
Jis mein ho tera naam wohi baat haseen hai.

Wherever your mention is, that gathering is vibrant,
Wherever your name is, that conversation is beautiful.

Ankhon mein hai us khulq-e-mujassam ka tasawwur,
Jiska koi na ho ghamkhwar zamaane bhar mein.

In my eyes is the vision of that embodied character,
Whose compassion is unmatched by anyone in the world.

Aise nadaan ko seene se lagaane wale wo hain,
Gham ke maare hue mayoos khatakaron ka,
Apna daaman-e-sawayat mein chhupaane waale.

Those are the ones who embrace such innocent souls,
Who hide the troubled, hopeless sinners
Within the embrace of their protection.

Ankhon mein hai us khulq-e-mujassam ka tasawwur,
Jis khuld-e-masarrat meri nazron pe kari hai.

It is reported through reliable sources that when everyone else failed to make headway at Khaybar, Gabriel came with the text of Naad-e Ali and asked Muhammad [pbuh], the Messenger of God, to call Ali [pbuh], his cousin, through this. Muhammad [pbuh] accordingly recited the divine revelation, and Ali [pbuh] who was staying at home because of an eye infection, came and conquered the fort of Khaybar.
