Chiptunes = WIN is a blog (https://chiptuneswin.com/) that covers most of what falls under the "video game music" umbrella.  They release compilations of chiptune music selected out of submissions sent to them.  Then, for each main comp, they get a different record label or collective to release submissions that didn't make the original + some new songs from the collaborating label's musicians.  Since DESKPOP's roots are in chiptune, we were more than happy to participate!  This compilation is an excellent showcase of what VGM has been, and where it could go.  We have a free download on Bandcamp, with streaming on Spotify/etc soon.  Enjoy!

Made for the Ongaku Concept Discord server's weekly challenge. Heavily inspired by Bless You, Boy! from the Mamorukun Curse soundtrack. Someday I will learn how to come up with things other than sentimental glurge.
