In these times when the term DJ is sold so cheaply, vinyl artists like Héctor Mad shine with their own light.

With a turntable experience stretching back several decades, his prowess in the craftsmanship of music mixing is beyond doubt.

That is why we have chosen him to be the author, yes author, of this complex piece of music that results from the combination of the productions that he himself has chosen from our catalog.

Throughout the footage of this mix, 40 skilfully intertwined excerpts sound that provide a personal and non-transferable vision of the label's catalog, techno in all its forms and manifestations in a unique sound journey.

The pieces of the puzzle fit together perfectly, as part of the same whole that the artists who have donated their art to us have composed individually. What a better way to celebrate these first five years of Koryu Budo!

We are infinitely grateful for the talent and dedication of all the participants in this adventure, from the graphic part to this compilation in the form of a mix by Héctor, which will be released in limited cassette format.

Étam, es el seudónimo detrás de uno de los cofundadores del sello Loopaina Records, sello con sede en la capital catalana. Junto con su hermano Jorge llevan ya más de 40 referencias tanto en digital como en vinilo. Étam, from Barcelona (Spain), was born in Santander but has lived like a globetrotter, spending time in cities like Belgrade, Oslo, Tarragona, and now residing in the Barcelona area. A humble lover of electronic music since childhood, he gradually found his way to deeper, darker techno, where he truly feels at home.
Étam is known for creating long mixes that highlight careful equalization, allowing the music to breathe and take listeners on a sonic journey. In 2022, he and his brother Jorge launched their own record label Loopaina Records, striving to carve out a place in the competitive techno scene, which is dominated by established artists’ labels.

Con un enfoque en lo abstracto y lo profundo, Aureal se propone crear paisajes sonoros que invitan a un viaje introspectivo, construyendo experiencias auditivas que inducen a un ritual cargado de energía e hipnotismo, donde la repetición y la evolución sutil de los elementos sonoros son clave para construir una experiencia inmersiva.
