Sonic the Hedgehog Music - Green Hill Zone (Remastered)

I really like the music from the Sonic games and decided to remaster one of my favourites!

This was made over the course of three evenings. I listened to the original song (don't ask me how many times) and I just picked everything out by ear and then put it into Logic Pro. No loops or preset synths were used and all sound effects were created by me using a field recorder. This was a very fun small project to work on and I hope you all enjoy it!

Junglewave - Syllix (Phantasy Star Online Ep. I & II vs Ecco the Dolphin)

In this track, I tried to capture what goes through my mind when I daydream sometimes. Often my thoughts fade in and out as I jump from one scenario to the other. I pictured myself at the ocean on a sunny day, hence the field recordings I took of the ocean. The fading in and out of the sections in this track represent my changing thoughts, and the melodic glitch elements are like the randomness of it all. Overall I am pleased with this track - kind of chill, downtempo, experimental, trip-hop, etc. I kind of hate labelling my songs - I never know what kind of music I make :p I just hope it can be enjoyed by others.

ASB & Syllix - Regrets

This is my remastered version of Marble Garden Zone from Sonic The Hedgehog 3. The source was not a midi-rip. I did this by ear, picking out each sound (bass, synths, drums, etc.) by itself, and then re-tracking it in Logic Pro.
