A-Trak & Armand Van Helden first splashed on the scene as Duck Sauce with the breakout hit "aNYway," a breath of fresh disco air in the distorted world of electronic music. Next up was "Barbra Streisand," a surprise global #1 smash and true pop culture milestone, complete with 70 million (and counting…) YouTube views, a Grammy nomination, and even a Glee cover! Had the pleasure of playing at what surely has to be the best festival on the planet never mind the USA, Thank you so much to everyone who came to see my set and all the crew at Insomniac / Dreamstate this truly was one of the career moments of my life I won't forget.

I create uplifting Norwegian techno music, driven by a passion for sharing my sound with the world. Born in 1982 near the Arctic Circle, I turned 42 the year I wrote this biography. My trademark style is all about expressing raw emotion—nothing is suppressed in my music; instead, it comes alive.

While my music may be complex and unique, its appeal is universal, and understanding it doesn't take a genius. My oldest tracks are rooted in projects I began when I was 18 to 23 years old. Back then, my focus was on crafting captivating melodies rather than sticking to basic dance rhythms.

The rhythmic component became a part of my work only 3-5 years ago, prompting me to revisit and reproduce my earlier tracks with the help of the riff machine. This tool has allowed me to transform some pieces into vibrant, colorful soundscapes. These tracks have since been improved countless times, and my growing confidence continues to fuel my belief in my work. That belief isn’t just an assumption—it’s a reality confirmed through dedication.

Currently, I’m diving into sequences, an exciting new element in my music. They’re fresh territory for me, and I’m committed to keeping them dynamic and engaging.
