Dawn the White Wake is a piece written in 1976 for flute, clarinet, piano, percussion and cello. It was widely performed by the wonderful soloists of the Ensemble Polychromie, directed by the vibrant conductor, Nvart Andreassian, and this recording is from 1984, performed in a large exhibition space somewhere in Europe!
The piece is an invocation to music, and is in 4 joined up sections: The Calling, The Preparation, The Awakening, The Memory.
