Once upon a kingdom rooted decades ago, there was a story passed down by generations, told by scholars and kings. The ancient story told is that so many years ago, creatures of the damned, fiery underworld would occasionally slip out to the overworld, where they would use gold to lure sailors to their death via. the sin of greed.

The demonic army worked fast. They would lure men to the seas with treasure, then tear apart their ships and steal their souls. Young men would be warned about treasure, how it's nothing more than a dead man's tale and an end of no return.

 Explorers would seek out riches and never return. Some were lucky enough to live to tell the tale, but those who lived said the money was not worth the horrors they witnessed, and the lives lost in horrid, unexpected conflict with the supernatural. Despite the tales told of men who have died seeking the riches of devils, there was still some motivation to find the greatest treasure of all: Pandora's Box. Pandora's box was far more valuable than gold. It is said that anyone who possesses this box is granted unspeakable power, even eternal life, at the cost of their humanity. 

Many searched the oceans of the world and failed trying. But there was one man devoted to finding Pandora's Box: A figure of royalty named "Zhard". Zhard was a prince of a northern kingdom called "Rosenfield". Zhard was fascinated by the artifact Pandora's box. After Zhard's father was nowhere to be found during a war with the Kingdom of Arbre, a kingdom with a green, peaceful climate in the middle of the map. Arbre won this war and Zhard took the role of Rosenfield Emperor.

As the new emperor of Rosenfield, Zhard renamed his land. He called it "Submergius" since after his father's death, he wants to impose revenge by invading and submerging the Arbre nation as part of his own. But to do this, he needed Pandora's Box and its unthinkable power to win the war.

So Emperor Zhard sent catastrophic masses of military sailor fleets out to the ocean in an attempt to find this supernatural power sunken at the bottom of a sea west of Arbre.

King Arbre the 1st had no idea of what would await him. May the gods have mercy on his soul.

It was made by the same crew behind the 2006 Sonic soundtrack and was apparently intended for a final boss fight against Dr. Eggman which was eventually scrapped in favor of the boss fight with Solaris, also featuring an updated new remix, and ultimately leaving this version lost to history... Until today.
