@Acud takes us on a journey from the end of the night through to the early beginnings of morning. Energetic, harmonious, and warm, his sets are driven, unfearful selections of charismatic and forceful Techno ballads, as well as innovatively deep and poppy productions. Lively, surprising, and exciting. Yet fundamentally emotional and anything but dull. 

His EP Brachland will come at end of april, with remixes made by Samuel Fach, Funkenstroem and Vocoderhead.

Brachland klingt seinem eigentlichen Namen entgegen: Erwartet man Klänge, die an den ruhenden Zustand eines Ackers erinnern, wird man zunächst überrascht sein über die recht düstere und kalte Atmosphäre, die sich eröffnet. Der Berg liegt vor einem, mächtig und beinahe bedrückend. Aber Acud schafft es, uns hinauf zu führen. Mit zarten eindrucksvollen Melodien wird der Weg zum Blick ins Tal ein Leichtes, beschienen von einer fast schon vergessenen Sonne.

The first track, Brachland, is not what you’d expect at first from what can be roughly translated as fallow land. Initially, we are surprised by a dark and brisk atmosphere with the image of an almost unscalable mountain lying ahead. With delicate, yet spectacular melodies, Acud leads us with ease up this hill to oversee a valley bathed in the rays of an almost forgotten sun.

In Der Tag Danach hat er die Brache gänzlich hinter sich gelassen. Die endlosen Strecken auf schwerer Erde ge- hören der Vergangenheit. Maritime Klänge erinnern an einen Tag am Meer und auch daran, dass es Frühling wird. Wir lassen uns treiben und plötzlich scheint alles möglich.

With the second track, Der Tag Danach (the day after), we leave the seemingly endless distances of the fallow and all its gravity behind. Maritime sounds are reminis- cent of a day at sea, announcing spring after a never ending winter. We let ourselves drift and suddenly eve- rything seems possible.

Funkenstroem fangt zwar die Stimmung des Originals auf und bewegt sich aber wehmütiger durch die Brache, als fiele der Abschied schwer.

Funkenstroem captures the essence of the original but leads us in a more melancholic manner through the barren land, almost as if it was hard to say good bye.
