We are back with releases this year and we start with one of the projects that have recently been integrated into the Nativo family, originally from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, younger brother of the one we all already know; Fausto. The 20-year-old Emiliano Apocada AKA Nokid has been giving a lot to talk about. Releasing tracks on labels such as VIGOR from the always excellent Villaseñor and Controlla to name a few, he has sparked interest in the region, in addition to organizing his own parties as part of the 'Gente Ondeada' collective.
Emiliano gives us two tracks full of sounds influenced by IDM, 90's rave and a lot of lysergy. An EP designed for an experience full of sensations "Ahí Viene" the title of the same, referring to the moment when the trip hits.

Jean-Jacques Perrey from Paris was one of the first Moog musicians, creating "far out electronic entertainment" already in the 1960s. He released albums with names we love like "Musique Electronique Du Cosmos (Electronic Music From Outer Space)" (1962) or "Cadmus Le Robot De L'Espace" even from 1959. We ran into "Cosmic Bird", this fantastic tune he recorded with Air in 2000 roughly, recently on an old CD, burnt from Audiogalaxy and Soulseek shares in the early 2000s which we didn't listen to for decades. It reminded us somehow of our first edit of "Popcorn" by Magic Men (and the original of course, the first synth chart hit by Hot Butter from 1972). It not only has a futuristic, but also a fun side to it and a psychedelic one too, like our favorite Italo tracks, so we decided to edit it to take the wonderful hypnotic madness of the original to the extreme. :) Enjoy! This track was born just now on 23 aug at 1:15am after my work and a long drive. While parking, I felt exhausted and wanted to create something calming. The result is a soothing electronic piece at 110 BPM, designed to unwind and ease the mind.
