Bredren have been steadily carving out their own niche for several years now, to ever more acclaim. Last year they started their own Bredren Invites night at the legendary Fuse club in Brussels, their home stomping grounds, to showcase their style alongside likeminded spirits such as SpectraSoul, S.P.Y., Alix Perez and Skeptical.

Rampage invited them to bring the concept to the stage of the biggest drum&bass and dubstep party in the world, and bring a few of their resident dj’s along for the ride. To celebrate this appearance, they put together an EP with all the dj’s that joined them; Phase, MC Mota, One87, M-zine and Scepticz: four excursions into the deep end of the drum&bass spectrum.

We whole-heartedly welcome Blade into the Innerground family with his intense and bass-driven EP - "T.H.U.G.".

Starting with the title track "T.H.U.G." we have a monster of a track that starts as it means to go on - eerie with an element of unruly darkness. Choppy amen breaks and big 'n' bashy bass makes this a guaranteed party starter.

"Valentine" is up next and retains the bouncy element of "T.H.U.G." whilst harking back to the GLO era with a backdrop that is more of a well-woven tapestry than a simple set of atmospheric samples.

"King" completes the EP and attacks the bassline once more with an undulating and unrelenting assault on the senses. Melodies and tough beats merge seamlessly to create an aural effect that is nothing short of musical poetry.

A beautifully constructed EP that blends the old sound with new production techniques for an immensely enjoyable musical experience.

 Digging out some old equipment and combining this with new outboard studio toys Got A Feelin’ was created with a minimal but big sounding approach. Giant wobble bass and grinding 808’s keep this stepper moving through the sub switches and vocal stings. 
Sesame Seeds pays homage to the famous jungle break heard on countless records but utilising many of the unused and unheard variations of the original breakbeat. Starting from scratch combining new edits and patterns, this subby Jungle roller has a reminiscent sound, but with a sonic twist keeping things fresh

We are delighted to announce a new addition to the Innerground family, the hugely talented BassBrothers! Originating from the city of Viana do Castelo, the Portuguese duo are here to fulfil your daily dose of ominous, dark and intense Drum n Bass.


Launching Headz EP is “Bizness” a monster track peppered with glitchy and choppy elements. Eerie and unruly sways of dark energy set the precedent for the rest of the EP - this track is custom-built for those 3.A.M basement parties that go all night long.


Next up is the title track of the EP, “Headz”, which steers us in an unexpected direction. While retaining the dark energy of the first, the rapid tempo and percussive elements generate that trademark BassBrothers sound which is sure to get you moving.

Following on from Headz is “Love You So”. Undulating bumpy basslines, airy vocal samples, and harmonica infused flows merge seamlessly to create a unique and refreshing aural experience.


“Not Bossa Nova” completes the EP, bringing us full circle by plunging us back into the depths of attacking breakbeats and jabbing synths. Unrelenting from start to finish, it seals Headz EP with a bang.


A beautifully crafted EP that weaves the vibrant energy of Drum n Bass with dark and ominous production, for an immensely exciting musical journey.

His trusted skills have been reigned in to remix seminal drum & bass classics including Shy FX’s ‘Bambaata’, Die’s ‘Clear Skyz’, Commix’s ‘Talk to Frank’ and Ram Trilogy’s ‘Gridlock’ as well as Bloc Party’s UK top-5 hit ‘The Prayer’.

Equally praised for his DJ skills, Break maintains a consistent touring schedule that sees him playing across the globe on a weekly basis on the stages of the world’s biggest drum & bass institutions; from Fabric, Detonate, Bedlam, Warning, Metalheadz and Hospitality in the UK to the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the breadth of Europe, playing headline shows or back2back sets with the likes of Die, Goldie and Dillinja.

Launching his own label, Symmetry Recordings in 2006, Break honed and polished his sound with each single and released his fist album, also entitled ‘Symmetry’ in 2008. Featuring forays into ambient, dubstep, funk, hip hop, house and soul amongst an arsenal of sure-fire drum & bass, ‘Symmetry’ earned Break an army of new fans from outside the d&b world with tracks picked up by the likes of techno legends Laurent Garnier and Josh Wink. 

Two years later Break has risen the bar further still via his second LP; ‘Resistance’. Featuring collaborations with No U-Turn mastermind Nico, Bristol’s DJ Die, super-duo Calyx & Teebee, DNAudio cohorts Silent Witness and Survival, Shogun Audio’s SpectraSoul and vocalists Kyo and SP:MC, the album offers a glorious journey through the spectrum of Break’s styles and influences and a clear indication of where his talents will lead him next. 

The next chapter for Break is signing new exciting artists to coincide with his own output on the label. Keep a keen eye on Symmetry as this is the label for the real sounds of Drum & Bass, absolutely no compromise.
