Symone, the soulful singer, is a native of Richmond VA; she came from a long line of talent in her family. 
Symone enjoyed singing and performing from the very tender age of six. Growing up in talented family, Symone was deeply inspired by her surroundings. She was exposed to all genre of music, and became interested in musical arts.

Her grandmother was a singer, songwriter and an actress. 
Symone’s mother, also a talented person was very inspirational in Symone's life; she sang over sea's, is a gifted dancer, and a singer/songwriter. Symone’s father is musician as well, with his own band called "Unity 7". Symone was still very young when she started singing in her father's band and is still singing with the band today. The band traveled up and down the east coast playing for, and with some of the most talented performers around, and exposing Symone to life on the road. 
 
Everything Symone needed to motivate her, to aspire to reach beyond the sky was instilled within her at an early age by her family, so she dreamed of becoming a star. 
 
As a young adult in pursue of her dream, she rolled up her sleeves and was ready to get started on making her dreams become a reality. While performing at local showcases and events, she caught the attention of local producers who instantly recognized her talent and began working with her, placing her in recording studios, creating demos, and having her guest appear on other local artists’ mix tape.  She was gaining notoriety and demanded respect, with her neo-soulful melodic voice.
 
She was taken under the wings of producers where they encouraged her to try her hand at producing and experimenting with her raw talent, not only as a singer but also as a writer.  She soon recognizes she had that old family trait of being a writer just like her grandmother and mother.
From then on she became fascinated with writing and producing her own tracks. She continues to fight for her dreams. Not for the fame or fortune but for a chance to uplift someone with her soulful voice. She believes that one day someone will be touched and inspired by her music.  Symone sings from her soul bringing you that soulful music you can feel, and not just listen to! Symone is the soulful singer!
