Finally getting back to uploading some Elancia music too! This is one of the 'leisure' songs from the Elancia series that'll be appearing on the 4th album. Verse and company rarely get time to relax, but when they do it's always fun and silly.
This song was originally written back in 2012, during my first run through the stories. It was nice to clean it up again and share it with ya'll!

An old, old Elancia & HardSpeed song fixed up for my next HardSpeed album. Glad I took another crack at this one, 'cause I think it sounds a lot better now.
The MIDI file dates back to the early 2000s, back when I was working with DJ Tubig/Malice X. The staccato chords that carry the intro of the song were his idea, built on top of a song I wrote when I was much younger. It really takes me back!

I've been wanting to take another swing at this song for a long time. It took me quite a while to figure out how I wanted to approach it, though. I wanted to give it more of an R&B sound, while keeping it relatively 80s. I had to make a lot of decisions about what fit and what didn't, which kept this one on the backburner for about a week, but I'm very happy with the result. I built the song arrangement around the bass, and only kept a few tracks from the original composition I did back in 2012 or so.
