A dj and producer born and raised in the south of Italy, where his interest in electronic music grew alongside his collection. 
At 17 years old, he made the decision to move to London, where he was influenced by the city’s vibrant London Underground techno scene. 
This experience sparked his passion for exploring hypnotic and old school sounds.

“For me, DJing is not just about discovering the music you want to deliver. It’s also about having knowledge of music genre, history and understanding the structure of sounds, which are what truly define a DJ.”

Gianmarco is also a co-founder and resident of Polyritmica.

His sets take listeners on an immersive journey through raw, deep, and driving hypnotic techno. With constant layering and skilful blending the best of both old-school and new-school elements, he crafts a distinctive sound that strikes a perfect balance between nostalgia and innovation.

Bio:
Rubén Monsalve, conocido artísticamente como Monsalve, es un DJ y selector español especializado en mezcla con vinilo, cuya propuesta sonora se distingue por su rigor técnico, visión artística y un amplio espectro estilístico dentro de la música electrónica contemporánea.

Iniciado en 2018 como coleccionista de vinilos, se traslada en 2019 a Madrid donde comienza a desarrollar su técnica de mezcla en estudio y se integra activamente en la escena club local. Su sonido abarca desde el techno más crudo, groovero o old school hasta territorios industriales, EBM y electro, sin abandonar una búsqueda constante de dinamismo, fluidez y cohesión musical.

En sus sesiones, Monsalve construye narrativas sonoras a través de capas de textura, contraste rítmico y evolución armónica, apelando tanto al cuerpo como a la mente del oyente. Ha compartido cabina con artistas destacados como Adriana López, Reeko, Christian Wünsch, Kike Pravda, Ocktawian, Anika Kunst, Raúl Parra, Héctor Mad,Tensal o jsprv35 entre otros.

En 2023 funda Phono Music Club, un proyecto dedicado a la difusión de la cultura del vinilo y el sonido analógico en Albacete, con una clara vocación curatorial y educativa. En 2024 co-crea junto a DMTR la marca ABISMO, centrada en la experimentación sonora y el coleccionismo, posicionándose como una plataforma con identidad estética definida y compromiso con el underground.

Ha actuado en clubs de referencia como Club Gordo,Family club,Killing time,LASOCIACIØN o Sala MUV, consolidando su reputación como artista versátil, técnico y con una clara propuesta de valor en la escena nacional.

Fiedel limitlessly undermines & overrides expectations. He's no average techno or house DJ. His sets build something new, while capturing the moment. Whether straight techno, banging 80's acid or electro funk: he always surprises.
Since 2000 he is resident at OstGut and later on at Berghain. On the compilation Fünf he had his first solo release on the incorporated Ostgut Ton label, followed by contributions to the compilations Various (2013) and Ostgut Ton | Zehn (2015). In 2012 he eventually founded his own label Fiedelone, to give his own productions a more personal base.
