Edward Olivetree, is Portuguese native currently living in London, one of the rising stars in the electronic dance music scene. His interest and passion was born while listening to his big friend DJ Del Montez classic deep house music cds and vinyls of the late 90's and early to mid 00's. Fast forward to the new millennium, Edward Olivetree musical interests peaked while attending events at mega clubs such as Kadoc, Locomia, Ministry of Sound as well as spending endless nights in the middle of dancing circles at the underground after hour scenes in Algarve, Portugal. At that point, is when he decided to pursue his disc jockey career. With the inspiration from some of his favorite DJs, his techno style has been influenced by some of the industry's biggest tastemakers such as Adam Beyer, Jeff Mills, Carl Cox, Sven Vath, and Richie Hawtin. He seamlessly mixes his new age techno sound with energetic bass lines, latin inspired percussions, sexy vocals with subtle glimpses of classic Detroit techno groove giving birth to a dancing experience rarely heard before. Edward Olivetree aspires to expand horizons by traveling and playing from the most intimate venues to large scale events and festivals. Through his music, he will channel his endless passion for life and hypnotic, infectious dance beats with the ultimate goal of pleasing crowds and connecting party-goers around the globe via this universal language we call music...
