Canada Day gave us an excuse to create a little playlist featuring some of our favourite Canadian artists from recent times.
For the size of the country, it has an incredibly small population (30 million) and a wealth of diversely brilliant musicians.

No genre was off-limits, so you are of course going to hear a metal song (alexisonfire for what it's worth).
We obviously couldn't pick all of our favourites though because time was an issue.
