Release Description:
After two short years, Aquaregia welcomes Téo Dréan back to the imprint with a fresh four-course bill of fare. 
Viandox leads off the EP with sludgy pads and a rich viscous kick, soon followed with light and airy chords which leave a heavenly yet haunting finish. Next on the menu is Wiselka which displays a bouncy bassline coupled with crisp stabs – an uplifting excursion. 
Onto the flip – Tiramisu brings an acidic profile to the decadent track developing a lattice of darkness.  To close, Arepas rounds out the release with a melancholic gliding 303 and an ethereal atmosphere.

„The Fox And The Raven“ is the maiden release for Denise Rabe´s self titled label, conceived to be the channel thru which her personal, unfiltered, haunting sound will find it´s body and voice.

Exemplifying this with the 3 cuts on “The Fox And The Raven”: driven, hypnotic, techno with a chasing sense of urgency, balanced with eerie lamenting melodies, perfectly fitting the tales of lore chosen to illustrate each release like a volume in an odyssey.

Concluding this chapter, a limited pressing of 300 reproductions serigraphed, embossed and scented, echoing how like fables, music, occupies a tangible moment in the listeners life and space.

Premiere: Svarog "Settling" - Affin

As Planetary Assault Systems, @Luke-Slater is an innovator of psychedelic mindfuck techno. Across a lengthy catalogue that stretches back into the 90s, the music’s bleepy, polyrhythmic loops are as recognizable as they are genre-defining. ‘Plantae’ is Slater’s first release as PAS on Ostgut Ton since ‘Arc Angel’ (2016) and covers the spectrum of PAS’s different strains while remaining grounded in Slater’s uncanny funk and knack for developing oblique melodies and rhythms over longer stretches. Deepness and hypnosis come as much through duration as sound design.

For Slater, ‘Plantae’ is made for Berghain, where he is a long-standing resident. In his own words: “I’m sure it’s no surprise that when it comes to putting together a release on Ostgut Ton, PAS takes on its more mind-altering, otherworldly quality by natural cause, quietly reflecting the dark sweaty nights and days at the club; at the point, the common neural coupling, of us all together. PAS has been part of Berghain and Berghain part of PAS for a long time. All of these tracks needed to pass the Berghain test in my sets first stop.”
