Influenced by FKA Twigs, Alina Baraz and DeeVah just to name a few, The sound of K. SINCLAIR is eerie, dramatic, dark and at the same time: Soulful. a sound many has described as "Truths many are afraid to speak." fueled by Love, Hate, Heartbreak, as well being the ruler of your own kingdom.
K. SYNCLAIR is surely an artist to watch out for.
Earlier beginnings:
Kiven "K. SYNCLAIR" Maripan, born 17th November 1997
was raised on musical genres such as Rock N Roll, Blues, Pop Rock, R&B and Blues, by his father Logan Maripan.
He often lead choirs in his schooling career, even his school's production of GREASE! in 2008/9
singing a variety of genres and the strive to remain true and himself, Kiven knew he wanted to blend, never wanting to be associated with a single genre and not to be labeled as a "Insert Genre" Artist. Often singing songs by female singers such as Katie Melua, Anastacia and Mariah Carey to name a few (Reason being that he found female voices to be more interesting and "different").
NOW:
Now as Kiven is musically known, K. SYNCLAIR, he is on a mission to put color and sounds from the etherealm into a word he describes as "Bleak, Grey and Dull"
