Here's my cover of one of my favorite tracks from the movie "The Lord of the Rings : The Two Towers". It was composed by Howard Shore and could be heard when Eowyn and all the citizens of Edoras made it to Helm's Deep. The end, which is pretty emotional, was played when Eowyn thought Aragorn was killed during the wargs' attack.
As usual, EVERYTHING was done BY EAR, and every single sound/note you hear was played by myself with a Yamaha NP-V80 keyboard. Sorry if there's any mistake then ! :)

Howard Shore - Refuge At Helm's Deep (from "The Lord of the Rings") Cover (full orchestra)

Hey everyone, Lester here! I’ve been obsessed with the Horus Heresy books for years, especially Fulgrim. The scene where Bequa Kynska debuts her epic composition “Maraviglia” always stuck with me - I really wanted to hear it come to life. 

I’ve spent the better part of a year bringing “Maraviglia” to life as an opera. 

It took over seven versions to feel satisfied. I’ve split it into two parts - this one aims to capture the wonder and intrigue of the pre-Chaos moment. 

To portray Coraline Aseneca’s performance, I worked with talented vocalist Clara Koszegi (https://clarakoszegi.hearnow.com/). Clara really brought the drama and emotion of the scene to the forefront. Translating such an iconic scene from page to music was massively challenging. 

I hope I’ve managed to transport you straight to the Fenice Theatre with the Emperor Children Legion. Let me know what you think! Stay tuned for Part 2, where things take a more ....chaotic turn.
