"At The End" has been composed in 1999/2000
and it was originally intended for the end credits of the film...
but although the track is very good, the grain of the sound
didn't really correspond to the aesthetic of the album (raw, direct,
parasitic...like the consciousness of the characters in the film).

The grinding acid assemblage of the best cuts from NYC's biggest Electro label on this their retrospective comp, is speckled with unreleased goodies and tracks from as far back as 96. Prepare yourself for heavy , bass-driven electro. This ain't no minimal experimental album. Even breaks heads will love tracks like Scape Ones "Android robotics," while Decals "From the Inside" can do some serious dance floor damage. An emotional ride with EMS's "Take my Time" takes the edge off of the overall acid feel of this album. Remember your squatting days in that abandoned industrial site? This was your Soundtrack!

This selection of Acid, Electro, and Italo Disco remixes of old and obscure gems transports you into a distinctive side of Labret’s musical universe, one of cyborg bats dropping acidic guano on politicians, abandoned factories inhabited by grimy urban cryptids, and floating Mayan pyramids beneath a stormy, menacing night sky.

There is a fine line between the concepts of Edit and Remix on these tracks. Although the original audio elements were preserved and used as a foundation, Pierre has completely reinterpreted most of them by adding his own synthesizers and drum machines, creating a new meat carcass over the original skeleton.
The result is a collection of enhanced, radioactive mutant versions of the originals.

The release opens with an Edit of a track by late industrial artist and Palestine activist Muslimgauze.
Symbolically, the release will be out on June 17th, Bryn Jones’ birthday.
As always, all edits are available for free, but any support is welcome, as contributions from Edits will be donated to an organization supporting children in Gaza.

The duo Jolie Gentiane come to us straight from a wild and unpredictable mountain peak, a perched place far from civilization, where the beauty and cruelty of mother nature reign but harmonize the elements.

They walk the high, steep paths, looking down on the chaotic and industrial world. This increasingly smoky world, which, from the top of the mountains, looks metamorphosing dangeroulsy, but would only need a few changes to make it less crazy. Or perhaps infinitely more so.

Jolie Gentiane is a skilful concoction of sound and daring. Unclassifiable, impalpable, the contemporary embracing the tradition and the acoustic swinging with the electronics. Autotuned/vocoderized vocals, 4th world, kitsch sax, psychedelic arpeggios, acoustic guitar, techno, it's all there: the story told by Jolie Gentiane on this album is rich and complete. Nature, love, celebration, struggle, work. Yes, even work.

Because the energy deployed to create this album was surreal, patient, extremely methodical, and the abnegation of the protagonists has been vertiginous: the cliff of the highest peak is finally climbed.

This album is like an ode to the earth, to the respect we owe it, an ode also to music in its purest essence, that which does not confine itself to borders, but shout for federation, dance and uprising.

TL PREMIERE : Nechkin - Better Place [FLOWTAPE]

The story of Drawbridge and Electric Shapes is unique from the very beginning. Unlike many other artists, Drawbridge was the one who reached out to us directly, sending his demo. From the very first listen, it was clear that we wanted to release it — and that record became the starting point of a warm and fruitful collaboration.

The release quickly proved to be one of our most successful, opening the door for other French artists to join the label. The cover artwork, created by designer Del.Duc, also marked the beginning of a lasting collaboration, as he went on to design for many of our future releases.

Almost immediately after the release, we had our first joint performance in Paris at Point Éphémère. Before the party, Victor even represented Electric Shapes on Rinse FM, playing a b2b set with STL-P, which made the whole experience even more special. Afterward, we enjoyed an unforgettable stay at the artist’s apartment deep in the forest, inside a castle. Long walks through the mountain ranges, time spent in nature, and countless moments of joy only made our friendship stronger.

When we returned to Vilnius, we knew without a doubt that we had to invite Victor to Lithuania as soon as possible. This led to two performances: one in Klaipėda at club TEMA, and another in Vilnius at SODAS2123. With each step, our connection grew deeper.

Obviously, we asked him to produce a track for Unreleased Territory. And when he made a killer remix for Jokios Kultūros’ track Living By The River Jūra, the result was so insane that Dovydas asked Victor to do another one for his new track from the EUFORIX EP.

So the collaboration naturally evolved into something we can truly call family. That’s why it was only natural to invite him to be part of this special edition of Unreleased Territory.
