Those who chose their own path when others bowed to the cross.
They hide in the wild, in sacred places, living by wisdom, freedom, honesty, and harmony with the Earth. 

But fear twisted their image.
Superstition named them devils,
power branded them dangerous.
Centuries of shadow covered their truth.

Yet their spirit endures.
Not darkness, but light.
Not evil, but balance.
Not forgotten, but waiting -
to be remembered as they truly were.
