So after 18 months, 50 musicians, artists and poets, 100’s of files, several innocent bystanders and of course some beautiful dogs and cats and I am proud to announce the debut album from Then She Reaches For The Gun. 
It’s been an immense pleasure to work with all this amazing talent! 
The album is titled The Vociferous Mapping Of Your Unlikely Future and features 10 tracks with the final track featuring every single one of the contributors somewhere in its 21 minutes : )

Narration: The poem is what it is.

She kept wondering
what might have happened
to that ring she used to wear.
She can still feel its tightness
when tracing the bone in her finger.

There had been some other life,
one she cannot remember.
Traces it of it surround her
like finds on an archeological dig.
She sometimes receives calls from strangers.

The other day, she must have held
a tiny, breathing something in her arm,
caressing it with affection.
Was it a kitten? She cannot detect
any litter in her home.

Right now, she can't help counting
down the letters in the alphabet.
Nothing adds up. Therefore, the fault
lies either in the faultlines between the numbers
and the letters or it is
her turn to vanish.

Lapses

It was a truly peaceful day, enveloped in the gentle spring sunshine. In the 80s, Ryuichi Sakamoto, a Japanese rock star, collaborated with Kiyoshiro Imawano for a cosmetics company's commercial tie-up. Their song "Ikenai Rouge Magic" was a surprising hit due to their unexpected pairing. In the lyrics of the song they co-wrote, there is a line that goes like this: "The nights are dark without you, even amidst the spring sunshine. It's so CRY" Here, "CRY" is a double meaning of the Japanese pronunciation "kurai," which means "dark." 
Even on a day as spring-like as this, my heart is still very "dark" and "cry" due to the passing of Mr. Sakamoto.
