Franklyn Watts & Jesse Bravo - Karma

I started this track during peak lockdown when COVID had just hit. 

Everything was so uncertain, especially in the music industry. Not knowing if would I ever get to play music to a crowd again or ever experience that vibe on the dancefloor I had grown to love terrified me.

I wanted to create something that reminded me of what it felt like to be in the clubs again. To feel that low end rattle your chest and get lost in a never-ending groove. To be surrounded by strangers but still feel that connection with everyone in the room. And then when the night was over, leaving and having that one tune from the night, stick with you after the dust settled.

I never released it as I was afraid of how it would go down. It was far from the type of music I was releasing at the time, and contemplated beginning again. I kept it locked away and titled the track "Rebirth" to keep in mind that this track was saved for a new beginning. This coupled with the isolation, made me hold this track close until the time was right. 

The time has never felt better, and I'm delighted to finally put this track out there as a milestone for myself. I hope you too can get lost in this the way I did, and feel the soul I poured into its creation.
