Denise Rabe released her first 12” on German imprint Mutewax in 2015. A solo EP on Arts sub label Arts Collective quickly succeeded her debut the same year, leading up to the label publishing her third release in 2017. This is also the year Denise actualized her own eponymous label Rabe.

Rabe the label, just like its founder, is all about techno. So far, three hyper modern brutalist sounding 12-inches from Denise herself has seen the light of day. Rabe’s productions are frantic yet deep industrial adventures, all carrying a hefty gothic presence. Her talent has not only caught the ears of eager fans, but also of recognized producers such as Rrose and Shxcxchcxsh, who both have contributed remixes for the artist.

Brought up on hip hop in a small German town, Denise learned to DJ at the age of 16, scratching and mixing, later diving further into electronic music via drum ‘n’ bass and jungle. From there exploring various styles of house, only to some years later finally ending up in techno territory, understanding this is where she truly belonged. Her DJ-sets are powered with the same energy as her own productions: dark minimalistic heavy-hitting eerie techno, often flirting with elements reminiscing of modern tribal- and trance.

Denise Rabe is a pragmatic grounded artist with a clear vision. Her passion for music has led her to be involved in the scene on many levels; whether it has been as a booker for Berlin venue Ipse; a radio show host for the city’s Sweatlodge channel or a club promoter for her own night HIDE and SEEK at “VENUE NAME”. Denise is also one part of Lyon collective TFIF, short for The Future Is Female, which as the name hints fights for gender equality within the techno scene.

From promoting parties in the 90s to finessing his hardware setup in the 00s under his Mental Distortion alias, Aleksandr is currently involved and submerged in the modern apocalyptic techno sounds. As you will be able to witness on your own, the next 60 minutes are a delightful juxtaposition of strident, cacophonous sonics that leave nothing but absolute demise behind them - the next hour is as much sheer power as it is raw will. Javier Gantz, a techno DJ and producer based in Madrid, has transcended the barriers of electronic music since he ventured behind the decks in 2016. His devotion to merging the sounds that have always captivated him has forged a distinctive and passionate career in the Madrid underground scene.

His journey began at Aback (Stardust Madrid), where he served as a resident for a year. Over time, he has expanded his musical presence, taking his sessions to various clubs in the city, such as Pirandello, Stella, DVST, Siroco, LASOCIACIØN, or Utopia Club, where he continues as a resident, as well as playing an active role as a promoter.

Influenced by classic masters such as Regis and James Ruskin, as well as contemporary visionaries like Reeko and Blawan, Javier Gantz's sets are experiences loaded with enveloping textures, powerful basslines, hypnotic synthesizers, and bold experimental productions. Each session tells a sonic story that transports you to an atmosphere where intensity grows progressively.

Since 2021, he has also become interested in production, having already released on renowned labels such as Illegal Alien, Selected Records, and Utopia Society, a label of wich he is a co-owner.

Set recorded in July, 2020, with music acquired that month.
