Meet Amorositie!

Amorositie is a vibrant and talented DJ and producer hailing from South Australia. With a passion for electronic bass genres like drum and bass and dubstep, Amorositie is always exploring new ways to express herself musically. Her unique understanding of the energies and emotions present in sound waves allows her to craft musical experiences that entrance, energise and emote the listener. From the deepest and darkest sounds to the most beautiful and ethereal melodies, Amorositie lovingly expresses it all in her music.

Starting her DJ journey in 2020 at the Adelaide Audio Institute, Amorositie has quickly made a name for herself in the Tarndanya (Adelaide AU) drum and bass, doof and club scenes. She's had the pleasure of supporting international acts Ivy Lab, Vibe Chemistry and Alcemist, and is a regular at local nightclubs Ancient World and Wnderland. Additionally, she's a familiar voice on local radio shows such as The Bassbin, Rollerz and The Ones and Twos on Fresh92.7.

Introducing... Guest Mix #025 Amorositie

After five years of planning, writing, and refining their sound, London-based production duo Kolectiv are set to release their long-awaited debut drum & bass album, Circadian Rhythms.

The project began in the aftermath of the pandemic, when the pair started setting aside tracks that captured the spirit of a night out at a drum & bass event. Their vision was clear: to create an album that reflects the variety, energy, and progression of a rave – from the first beats that pull you into the closing sounds that carry you home.

“Going out to drum & bass nights, you’d hear so many different flavours across six or seven hours. We wanted the album to follow that same arc – like a circadian rhythm, a natural flow of time, but in this case the cycle of a rave,” Kolectiv explain.

To achieve this, the duo placed a strong emphasis on originality and sound design. Most of the album was built from scratch using their own recorded samples, crafted through sessions with keys, drums, and guitars, and only dipping into external sources when absolutely necessary. Vocal collaborations from PAV4N, Hijak MC, Illmatika and Kerry Donnelly add unique flavour to the project, while carefully placed interludes tie the project together as a complete listening experience.

“This isn’t just a collection of tracks. We wanted it to be a journey – a cradle-to-grave kind of experience – with highs, lows, and moments to breathe.”

The title Circadian Rhythms captures that intention perfectly: an audio diary of a night spent immersed in drum & bass culture, told through Kolectiv’s trademark blend of technical precision and emotional depth.

The project also coincided with a complete studio overhaul, giving Kolectiv a fresh environment to finalize and mix down the record with a renewed sense of clarity and focus.

With Circadian Rhythms, Kolectiv deliver more than an album – they present a story, an atmosphere, and a tribute to the music and culture that shaped them.

His love for drum and bass started in the late 2000's listening to Pendulum. Syntax's journey into DJing began in 2012, and after an 8-year hiatus, he returned to the scene in 2022 with drum and bass music.
