Atmosphere

An instrumental track I wrote many many years ago but recently redid with better sounds. It's an up tempo piece, in the style of the 80's synth artists, but with my own influences added of course.

Rising

A track made with only animal sounds and samples. Rhythm, chords, melody, it's all animals :-)

Mad World Cover

A song from a fairly unknown band originating in Finland. Their lyrics truly justify the band's name: Poets of the fall. Anyone who is into poetic lyrics with a meaning should look into their music! This version is different from the original, using mainly piano instead of guitar, and adding some strings. Enjoy!

Love you more - Racoon (Cover)

A cover version of the instrumental by the Alan Parsons Project. For this version I was inspired by a group of percussionists in Garda (Italy) who played along with this song and by that gave it such a lift that I then knew I would make a version with a lot more percussion in it. So, here it is

And now for something completely different. A song that I know from the Eagles and played with a band I used to be part of. I love big choirs, so I decided to add 'a little' extra voices to it.

All vocals and instruments by me, arrangement of instruments based on the original, but added a lot of stuff, like drums, bass, banjo, piano and extra guitars 

Seven Bridges Road Cover

THE song by Spandau Ballet. I don't care much for the standard hits 'Gold' and 'True', but this one is just genius. I made an effort to get the guitars as realistic as possible, and in this case I do think I succeeded quite well. Added some vocals that are not in the original, as well as some little things in the background. I couldn't get the sax solo at the end to sound real, so I made the fade out a bit earlier. All vocals and instruments (programming) by me.

SYNTH-O-MATIC exists since 1990, is electronic experimental music  by dutch composer E. van Wouw, son of classical musician Hans van Wouw
Uses keyboards and synthesizers with their unique sound to make music. Recordings are sometimes spontaneous.The art of improvisation. Emile also sings and raps, but because of asthma he mostly makes instrumental music.
He also likes to experiment on many levels. And to combine different rhythms.

And although the name suggest its because of synthesizers, In the 90's I had only one little synthesizer. And I was and still drawn to classical sounds.
